Capture Me

I was sucked right into this story and couldn't put it down! Absolutely intriguing characters who do horrible things and you can't help but root for them. I'm officially obsessed and diving right into book 2! Loved, loved, loved it!!

Something about the way Anna Zaires writes keeps you hooked and wanting more. I couldn't put it down! I finished it in one day. Could have used more background on the characters to help bring them to life more, but the way the story flows keeps you wanting more. Spice level was great! I hate it when reviews recap the story and give it away. So, I'll just say get it!!! You won't regret it!

Lucas first lays eyes on Yulia when she serves as a translator during a meeting between his boss, a notorious arms dealer, and some Russian contacts. In a room full of dangerous criminals, Yulia's beauty beckoned him.He found himself unable to forget the blonde beauty, even after watching her throw herself at his boss. Determined to work her out of his system, he goes to her apartment that night, surprised to find her receptive to his advances. The two spend a night of passion together, ending when Lucas has to leave Moscow in the morning.While Yulia needs to extract information to report back to her boss, she has to change her plans when the arms dealer declines her advances. Instead, she finds herself with his second-in-command, a man who turns her own as much as he frightens her. She almost regrets telling her boss about when the pair will be departing from Moscow, knowing that it will likely be the end of their lives, but she reminds herself of the job she was sent to do and the lives that depend upon her ability to complete it.After having their plane shot down shortly after departing Moscow, it doesn't take long for Lucas to figure out how information about their flight plan was leaked. In hardly any time at all, Yulia has been tracked down by their Russian contacts for interrogation.Alive, but injured, Lucas makes arrangements to take Yulia into his custody. He wants to personally oversee her interrogation and make her pay for betraying him. He hates her as much as he desires her.From the start, the sexual tension was off the charts between Yulia and Lucas. They had incredible chemistry and the sex scenes were smoldering. The betrayal and lust combined to make a perfect level of emotional turmoil throughout this book.Overall, this was a great read! It was relatively fast-paced and straightforward. It wasn't as dark as I'd expected it to be, but it was still a fantastic story. As foretold at the end of this book, Yulia's captivity has only just begun, so that may change. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series immediately.

So far so very good.I wished this book had been longer because I was enjoying the read so very much.I knew alot of this story because I had read the Twist Me trilogy of Nora and Julian , so I had just got to the new stuff when this story ended but it was through Lucas 's eyes so it wasn't such a redundant read as I thought it might be I'm very happy to write. Needless to say I'm hooked and ready to get going with Yulia's and Lucas 's book # two.Bummed that its a two month wait. Ms.Zaires writing skills are excellent and I'm really hoping for the best with this series. This story is sexy, with mystery and murder and criminal minds but the author always keeps a love story on the front burners which is hard to do I'm sure with all the violence at times.I'm impressed. Please Ms.Zaires keep this story flowing forward , lets see more of Nora and Julian in this series too and please do a really amazing epilogue for this couple and for Julian and Nora.That was my only complaint with the ending of Twist Me.Series ,I just wished for a bit more ,more disciptive and more thorough ending for Julian and Nora and their baby. I know you said you read all your reviews so hopefully you except my praises of your writing skills and also my opinion on your endings for your fans .Your stories are very well done and your endings with these characters who we all really get to know so well should be epic as well. Here's hoping for a great book two with Lucas and Yulia with a great epic thorough ending even though It sucks to have to wait until February for the next installment.Seriously for everyone who enjoyed this read you have to then go back and read the Twist Me Series if you haven't already because that is when we first meet Lucas and that trilogy was definitely read worthy. : )

Spin off from the twist me series. Which I adored and have re-read several times. This girl can write! Highly recommend the Mia and korum krina series also. Can't fault any of them. Hard to put down

"Twist me "シリーズのspin-off作品なので、"Twist me "を読んでいれば知っている展開が、別の観点(Lucas, Yuliaの観点）から書かれています。物語の作り手からすれば、すでに考えたプロットに沿って、物語を膨らませていけばいいので、かなり省力化した作品だと思います。物語自体としては、それなりに面白く読めます。しかし、あまりに短かすぎます。次の巻と合わせて1冊にすべき位の長さだと思います。
