This little table at first had me worried when I looked at the box. It seemed too narrow, too shallow, and too light. It had arrived as I was preparing dinner so it seemed a perfect time to try it out, And setting on the counter it looked dainty and weak. I prepped my plate and it fit perfectly in the well of the tray, score one- the dish doesn't hang over the side and become unbalanced. I grabbed my cutlery and napkin which fit along side the plate and didn't slide (half a point for the proper texture). My drink already on my end table, I grasped the slight curve of the handles and was worried the light weight nature of the bamboo would sucomb to the weight of the steak and potatoes of my dinner. Damned if that tray even bowed a bit, Score 2- this sturdy little bugger is solid. I sat down on my recliner and placed the flat tray on my lap to settle into my nest and it looked narrow against the girth that is my lap. BUT as soon as I flipped out the legs, and the angles slid down either side of the side of Thor's Twins and propped against the arms of the recliner i knew I was in love. TOP SCORE- this little champion held my food safe and secure whilst riding high atop the sons of thunder that are my thighs and never made me feel like I was trapped.If there is a meaty person in your life that needs a good table to eat more meat off of, this is the table you need to buy them.A quick spritz from the sink sprayer and a wipe down with a dry towel and it was clean and ready for the next meal. The most effort I have had to put in to this purchase was deciding where to keep it safe from my kid.

Man this is perfect size and height. I had to get this for my dad when he got his knee replaced. You wld haft to know my dad, but he SUCK as a patient. MAD AT THE WORLD AND PISSY BC HE CANT DO HIS OWN THING. LOL. I'm pretty big, and it fits across my thighs. Well, built and not flimsy. My mom uses it daily.

Sweet little bed tray! Great height and light enough to move easily yet, sturdy! I do crafting in bed in the evening and I love having a reliable, straight surface to place my items on. The folding legs makes it easy to place beside my bed. Nice attention to my craft supply!

It looks nice, just as pictured. Was sealed in plastic cover inside box. It had an awful smell that didn’t wash off. If you spill, liquid will definitely leak through the edges. What site doesn’t show is the tray is like a picture frame with a thin, flimsy bottom that sounds flimsy when you tap it. Bottom is definitely not wood, and may eventually fall out like the bottom of a cheap, pressed particle board dresser drawer. I’m not convinced any of this tray is actually real wood. I don’t think it would ever absorb or need linseed oil. I got it on sale for 15 bucks on Black Friday. If the weird smell goes away, I still don’t think it’s a value for me. I’m returning it. It may be just what you need if using for display or sporadic, light meals in bed (just don’t spill the drink). If you plan to regularly pack the tray like their pic shows, the bottom will eventually warp and fall out.
