Air Venturi Wonder Wheel Target System

The manufacturer is very specific about what energy rifle can be used at what distance with this target. That is because it is not built anywhere near strong enough to be a target system.We were shooting it with a youth .177 Gamo Recon G2 air rifle from 15 yards. The amount of energy carried by the pellets were not enough to actually fold the target back if it was in the range of 4 -8 O' Clock position at this distance. We just shrugged this problem off and said the boys had to shoot as many as they could before it settled to a stop because once you were down to the last few they would of course settle toward the bottom where you could no longer flip them up. That was not great but it was ok until we broke the target.Using the same air file and ammo that was not sufficient to flip the targets back all the way last night we broke one of the plates clean off of the wheel. The cheap brittle plastic they use to hold the steel plates to the steel arms had no chance of survival and it broke in half.So there it is. You are going to need to shoot this thing with Nerf darts if you want to preserve it. Ours broke on our third session using it with less than 5 strikes on the paddle that broke. It is not easily repairable since they used rivets to attach the parts.

Not good targets for airsoft, too hard to knock, even point blank.

This thing broke upon first use when all of the instructions pertaining to power and pellet size specifications were followed to the letter. I returned it for a refund. My husband was disappointed.

This product is well built.for bbs .177 haven't tried a pellet but very satisfied.

It would have been great if one of the targets would not have broken off the first time I used the target. The part that broke is a plastic insert into a metal channel arm on the wheel. If the insert would have been made of metal or even wood it probably would not have broken. The target is fun to shoot but it won't last long. Maker needs to improve product and give me one to test and review.

I needed a new "toy" for my pellet guns, and this one sounded good. It is! First, it's very well constructed. Parts fit together perfectly, and the 1/8" steel targets do not take any abuse from .177 or .22 caliber lead pellets. When hit anywhere but on the outer edge, they flip over easily.. The ball bearings that control the spinning are also of excellent quality so that the target keeps spinning (admittedly slower and slower with each revolution) after a hit. The description made it sound as if you had to quickly reload to be able to shoot while the targets are spinning, but that is definitely not the case -- take your time, it will still be spinning. The device is also very stable and the legs stay in place so that a hit on a target does not move it even a fraction of an inch on a table. The directions aren't great but they're pretty good. Made in China but you can't tell. This is a great target shooting toy and I highly recommend it.
