Made my cheap squier PJ sound awesome
I really like seymour duncan pickups in my guitars. I have had a qp p-pickup in a squier pj bass for awhile. Finally switched the bridge to this. Why in bridge? Because it fits better in the smaller squier rout. Also, added a blend pot. Just twist it a bit and lots of tonal options. Sounds awesome. Some people looking for a specific vintage tone don't like the scooped sound of qps. They also would never play a squier. But the squier is a cheap platform for the huge sound I get with flatwounds and duncan qps. Just what i was looking for. Very satisfied.
