35407 AIRVENT Attic Fan Motor 1/15 hp 1500 RPM 115V

This worked great as a direct replacement for my 17 year old attic fan. It's been running fine for the last 3 months. Hopefully it holds up.

We ordered 2 of these. The first one worked great and solved our problem. The 2nd one did not work!!!

Mounting, wiring, fan blade all fit perfectly and it's keeping my attic cool. I can tell a huge difference in the way my house cools now and the a/c run time per day on these near 100° f days is way down.

This electric motor powers an attic fan that is accessed from the roof. It is desirable that the fan run unattended activated only by its associated thermostat. The fan is running properly as indicated by strips of cloth that flutter outward during hot afternoons but only flutter in the wind direction in cool times. The previous motor could be heard from the house and so indicated when it was running. The current motor is so noiseless, which is a good attribute, that cloth strips were needed in order to check when operation is occurring.

Fan was what I hope for. Easy to replace. Only been up for a couple of weeks and it hasn't been hot yet,so will see how well it works when weather warms.

Took a little time to install but it works great!

This only worked for a month. I'm assuming the capacitor on the side of the motor went bad. It happened right after the return window closed.
