The ONLY fitness nutrition book you will ever need
As expected, Martin delivers a powerful science based and tested knowledge with years of results to show. This book actually helped me understand the missing gaps I had in my fitness knowledge. Being a fitness enthusiast myself, someone who has trained people and read countless research journals, I can say this is a MUST have for everyone who wants to be stronger while maintaining lean chiselled look. The theories are explained in a manner a layman would understand. If you are a carb lover you might find a new way or lifestyle that can be easily transitioned into your eating habits once you realise the power of what leangains method can do for you. A BIG thank you to Martin, he is truly a legend. Highly Recommend.

Repetitive but hits the nail in the head
No non sense book to get a good grasp of nutrition and exercise. Worth rereading a few times to ensure the method is adapted as intended!

Am entire philosophy of nutrition and fitness!
I'm in love with this book, and I'm genuinely excited to practice the principles taught here. The book is a breath of fresh air, raw and deep at the same time, and contains information that doesn't exist elsewhere. The only regret that I have after reading this book is that I was gullible enough in the past to fall prey to fuckarounditis, and a certain Canadian scamster peddling plagiarised wares. I genuinely think that this is the book to end all other books on dieting. Thank you, Martin. It was well worth the wait.

GET THIS NOW!
This book is brilliant! To the point, backed up by science. As they say the best diet is the one that you can stick to, Martin's Leangains is what started the intermittent fasting and Reverse pyramid training protocols. The book is exceptionally comprehensive and straight forward. It give you much more than just the steps you need to take but also backs up the thought processes, science and gives you a heads up on the psychological approach you need to take!I've found my mentor!

Prepare for the true essence of fitness......
The book one must read in his/her life, To understand the basics if applied correctly yield fortune for anyone who wants to be legit and informative to others. I felt in love with knowledge martin shared but I'll give it a honest opinion that it must be readed by true learner who wants it badly and really want to make a change.

Minimalist, focussed and unapologetic.
Much like it's author, this books penchant for controversy is offset by its earthy, earnest and unabashed tone. As someone heading down what promises to be an arduous road, I can only hope that it works as well as it reads.

Cuss words galore
This book, at least from what I've read, which was basically fast reading through some portions, has a sizeable amount of cuss words and profanities. If the author is writing a novel, I can understand that, but when somebody is giving information on health or research on something, it is rather unnecessary. Returned it when I couldn't take his constant use of obscenities.

As funny as it is informative
This book deals with both nutrition and training. The training method, reverse pyramide training, is rewarding. It feels good trying to hit the intended numbers. The approach to nutrition is logical, intermittent fasting, or not. Lastly, it's interesting to follow the author's journey. And the writing style is great.

…yeah. It was worth it.
Thoroughly, yet concisely, the author explains a method that is sufficient for leaning out. And I consider that a very high bar.It starts with a valuable, relatable, very personal anecdote that sets the tone for the rest of the manual; sincerity. The author believably wishes you well, which is apparent by his sharing of trade craft honed by years of painstaking refinement. Maybe he’s giving up industry secrets, as he lays out a solid reminder of what looking for information on training was like in the early 2000’s - mostly horseshit with rare pearls of wisdom, but the facts presented are core dieting concepts that are overlooked, or ignored, by most training information sources. What he doesn’t do is sell you supplements, specific/special/super foods ideals, or rules to complicate what is a relatively straightforward concept (getting lean and strong AF).I felt it was short, not incomplete, kinda like how time flies when you’re having fun. There were a few moments I laughed out loud.Well written, well researched, well worth $10 CAD.

Very very helpful. For me it was a gamechanger.
The concept in this book works for me, it's rather easy to follow, it's rather simple, and it makes sense. It changed the whole game for me. Before, I (early 50s) tried to get in shape mostly by running, but besides making me fit, it never helped my physique a lot. Following this book certainly has changed all that.Maybe it could have been written a bit more concise, but the author's own experiences make it even more credible. The slightly macho language/style I really don't bother me at all, what matters is the content. Five stars, one of the best (or maybe the best) fitness books I've ever read when it comes to losing weight and transforming one's physique.

Contradictions
I wanted to like this, but tripped over contradictions.Martin first describes how he tried a keto diet but failed to keep it up (I know the feeling), then goes on to describe (and justify with references to scientific studies), that fat makes you fat. The keto-diet means consuming lots of fat. Has he failed to check his weight during his keto diet? It WILL not have risen!I know that, unlike glucose, fat can reach the mitochondria without insulin (which is why, before the invention of injectable insulin, diabetics were prescribed a keto diet)

Great tool for Personal trainers and fitness enthusiasts
Love this book. I am a certified PT and I've looking into Intermitent fasting for a while now and this is the first time I truly believe that IF works. It has a lot of scientific backing and I love the no bullcrap approach. I bought it since it came out and I have been using it with my clients and myself, with a few tweaks depending on the client and we have seen great results just a month into it. I will backing you up on your patreon page to learn more about IF and hope it helps get more scientific studies running on this topic.
