Greatest Ever 60s

It's a 60's CD that's all you need to know

This covers my life from mid teens at school, college, first job and engagement to my wife. Music was everywhere ranging from a Dansette in the Bluebird cafe, Radio Luxembourg, Pirate radio and local dances. This collection managed to include many of my favourite recordings of that era. Not only those I could remember now but also those I had forgotten until I heard then again. It also has alternate versions by different artists bringing back the memories of wondering which version in the top 20 would perhaps make No.1. Multiple simultaneous releases of the same song is pretty well unheard of these days. One of two I cannot remember, but that isn't unusual as there was so much music around at that time and the recordings are pretty typical of their type so are welcome as something that probably hit the charts and then vanished. The recordings are generally nicely clean and havn't suffered the fate of being 'improved' by some heavy handed sound engineer. So if like me you are frustrated by the usual collections that simply repeat a very narrow selection of music from that era and miss out many of your favourites, this may be worth buying, and if you were not fortunate enough to be around at the time this will introduce you to some great music.
