Depending on what you’re posting in these envelopes, the glue top isn’t brilliant.A very thin strip of glue that doesn’t fully cover the fold-over flap, so I’ve used sellotape to secure the flap down.Quite sturdy envelopes though.

Compact, lightweight but sturdy and waterproof: all the qualities required to send paperback books as cheaply as possible. This fits one book (5x8) perfectly which can then be posted as a large letter rather than a small parcel.
