LavazzaQualità Rossa Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, Arabica and Robusta Blend, 8.8 oz Brick

I like it. This comes ultra vacuum packed, which I really appreciate. And the grind is pretty fine, which I’m guessing is why it’s used for Espresso, as well as coffee. I’m no expert or aficionado. That being said, I drink coffee, and this brews really good. It goes down real smooth. I definitely get the chocolate notes here, and it tastes great with vanilla, sweet cream, or hazelnut creamer. Do I like this more than Lavazza Classico medium or House Blend medium? Maybe, this one surprised me. Its really good, and if you are on the fence, its definitely worth trying. My only gripe, its not cheap.

Update: I have upgraded from a Moka Pot to a real espresso machine this same mix, as written below, is a true winner. I have not changed the recipe and never will. This mix makes an amazingly good cup of coffee/espresso.BTW: The advertisement only mentions it once............"best used with an espresso machine or moka pot..."AGREED.I love Lavazza Qualita Rossa. It is a wonderful, potent and bitterish espresso all by itself. What I do though.... I mix this 1/2 and 1/2 with Lavazza Crema e Gusto (see its review) and brew it in my Moka Pot (see its review) and then add milk to make a cappuccino.Alone, I love it but together.... the moka is to die for. A perfect mix of flavor, body and the right bitterness tempered into a cappuccino...... I drink one everyday.I highly recommend Lavazza Qualita Rossa alone or in combination with other Lavazza coffee products.

This coffee is perfect for making espresso, but it’s definitely darker than anticipated. With a roast level of 5/10, you’d expect more of a medium roast, but it leans toward the darker side. The flavor itself isn’t bad—just richer and bolder than expected. I ended up pulling a single shot instead of my usual double for my latte

Coffee is good but the Amazon offer is misleading. Received only one package instead of advertised 4 so it came out very expensive compared to what you can pick up in the store...

This blend is smooth and tastes great. No bitterness or aftertaste. This is an enjoyable cup of coffee.

It is good. I had this while staying with friends in Naples Italy, two years ago. I must be making it wrong because how they made the espresso it wasn't bitter. . . I will keep trying.
