The material is pretty nice for the price. I wanted a set of matching journals for my wife and I and this is exactly what I was looking for. Quality is pretty good considering its under $20. I'd even consider paying 50% for the same set.

My boyfriend loved it and used it

I am homeschooling a 5th grader who hates to write. He loves the journal and we look forward to using them. The appearance is so inviting, like it's calling you to open it. It looks and feels like leather, kind of stiff but I think it will soften with use. The paper is wide rule and vintage looking. The journal looks very nautical with the compass on front and the anchor and ships wheel charms on the straps. Small enough to put in a backpack for exploring nature trails and taking notes about plants ect.. I hope it proves to be durable but only time will tell that. I would absolutely buy for gift giving. It's a great price and well worth the money.

My daughter loves journaling on vacation. She plans to use one when she visits the ocean and the other when she’s visiting the mountains and/or camping. She loved them!

Seldom do I write a review on the day I've received an order. Because These notebooks are so cool I had to say something about them right away. Perfect size for my purse, beautiful exterior, really cool embellishments. Any size pen will fit on the inside. Very impressed with the quality especially for the price. Of course I do not know how they will hold up but think they will last a good while. Very pleased. Very happy with colors also.
