The BEST Gravity Based Water Purifier
I have been using this purifier from more than a month now.I initially ordered the 17 liters total capacity filter, it got delivered and when I filled it up, I realized that it wont simultaneously hold 17 liters of water but just 8 liters of water in the lower compartment only.I contacted the RAMA company customer support by whatsapp and soon after they called me, the lady on call was very understanding and when I asked her if I can return a slightly used product, she said yes there is no issue.So I returned the lower capacity filter and ordered this higher capacity model instead.This incident gave me much confidence on the company and their ethics and really happy with how they responded.Now coming to the filter review:The filter body is 100% stainless steel, I checked with a magnet and there was not even the slightest pull.The filter body shines like a mirror and has an amazing premium finish, its just exceptional, immediately fell into love with it. the shape, symmetry and finishing is also very perfect, no dents, no defects, isnt bent or anything like that, just perfect.The carbon candles are really good quality and a unique filtration product. when you hold it in your hands you can immediately feel the porosity of the candle.Fitting and installation was very easy.Initially during the first usage for around 30 Liters, the water has a slightly bitter aftertaste and the TDS also rises. This is expected behavior and is mentioned by the company too.After 30 Litres or so, the TDS and taste goes back to normal, in-fact the water does taste better.The filtration process is quiet fast, I have municipality water with TDS of 32 and it filters around 10 liters of water in half an hour to 40 mins, which is really good.One small issue I faced is that when the top container is heavy with water, the seal between the top and bottom container is tight, if you open the tap, the water is slow because air is not able to enter the bottom container because of the tight seal. Just moving the top container little bit solves the issue.I think its a fair price to pay for the precision craftmanship!Also, not that you should look at the storage capacity only when deciding the size to buy and not the total capacity.

Excellent Product.
Excellent Product. During the rainy season the water is little muddy from the borewell. We tested the muddy water in this filter and it gave out clear water. So you can go for it without any hesitation.

Does not filter the water properly
Not recommended for ground water. It filters the water only 5 to 10 percent, you can still feel the same taste. Very expensive for this performance. Good part is stainless steel is good and compact size.

Superb performance
Self installation is very easy.Looks neat, appearance is Sturdy, looks classy with excellent performance. Good for city homes where you get water supply from municipal Corporation.Filtered water tastes well, no after smell.Only one flaw is water leakage if the lower chamber is full and you have water filled in the upper chamber.
