Great value for Cherry MX clear switches
I've been looking for an affordable full size keyboard in mx clear switches with no frills. The iKBC fitsthe bill. I almost purchased the previous version, but never got around to it. Then they released this v2 in 2020 which was a surprise. The keyboard has a good weight to it. Not flimsy at all. In my experience, a majority of mechanical keyboards are like this. It has rubber feet at all four corners so it doesn't slide on the desk (although I have my keyboard on a mousepad now). The keycaps feel great to the touch. They're doubleshot PBT, so the quality is greater than the ABS plastic that is found on cheap or non-mechanical keyboards. The keycaps wont become shiny over time and the lettering most likely will never fade under normal usage. I can attest to this with my previous keyboard -- a mx blue keyboard with custom PBT keycaps that I used for about 4 years. Blue switches are clicky and loud. I wanted something quieter with tactile feedback and the clear covers those options. I find clear switches to be much more enjoyable to type on. They have just the right amount of force needed to activate a key. The force is greater than blue switches and I definitely feel a difference. So, for some people this may be a negative as it can tire out your fingers. Personally, I enjoy having that tiny bit of resistance when typing. I make less mistakes compared to blue switches. This keyboard has 4 extra keys -- a mute, volume down, volume up, and calculator key. I find it to be useful, especially the mute and calculator keys. The mute is useful for those times when you are at the computer playing music or a podcast and someone interrupts you. I can quickly hit the mute key to talk to the person and then hit it again to resume. I enter lots of numbers/use a spreadsheet so the calculator key has been very useful. I can hit the cal key and immediately start typing numbers on the keypad. It probably saves fractions of a second compared to clicking on the calculator icon that I have on my taskbar, but it feels more efficient. If you don't find any of the four keys useful, you can use programs to remap the key for another function. The lights for the numlock, caps lock, and scroll lock are a white color. They're not too dim and not too bright so that it's distracting. Since this keyboard has the 4 extra media keys it puts the row of lights in a sort of awkward position. Almost seems like it's hidden. Fortunately, I can see whether the lights are on just fine no matter what position I'm sitting at my desk. The colored keycaps and key puller are nice extras. They are also made in a PBT material. I haven't used it yet, but I imagine they will feel just as good as the keycaps on the board itself. The keyboard also comes with a clear plastic molded cover to protect it.I honestly can't find any flaws in the short time I've owned this keyboard. I guess if I had to find a flaw it would be that the cable is not detachable nor braided. The biggest concern could be the rubber-like/PVC material of the cable. Over time, cables with this material becomes sticky. But that takes years before it shows signs. Overall, if you're looking at clear switches (or an alternative to brown switches), the iKBC CD108 v2 is one of the better options on the market.

Great no frills mechanical keyboard
Needed a quiet mechanical keyboard for work, so I decided to pick up this keyboard as it was reasonably priced, had silent switches, and looked the part. The switches are very silent and surprisingly smooth for stock MX. The stabilizers are also pretty good as well. The build quality is solid. Keycaps are double shot PBT, so they'll last forever, and it has some good weight to it.There is no backlighting, but I can touch type so that's not an issue for me.There really isn't much else to say. It's built pretty well, types well, and is reasonably priced. It's 70% of a Leopold (the best prebuilt keyboards money can buy) for 50% of the price.

feels good to use, lots of function keys, and no lag detected on input. really good NKRO(or whatever lets me hit every button at once) and it makes a very satisfying sound. plug and play; very easy to use.

Amazing keyboard! Buy if you want a normal-looking keyboard.
These are my first impressions of the keyboard since I received it today, so take everything with a grain of salt.Moving from a full size membrane keyboard to a 60% keyboard, and then back to a full size mechanical keyboard, this is a really good option for minimalistic and non-RGB preferences. For this keyboard, I specifically chose the Cherry MX Blue switches and was delighted when it arrived. And surprisingly, these key switches are much quieter than my Gateron Optical Red Switches, mostly due to the fact that this keyboard is much heavier and the sound doesn't seep into the desk as it did with my previous keyboard. The bad things about this keyboard is that it has a non-detachable cable, a calculator key, it has thirteen ugly white dots on the space bar, one of the keycaps is slightly harder to press down than all of the other keycaps (could be the switch's fault, I doubt it though), and it lacks media controls for audio playback (such as pausing, skipping, etc). Fortunately, it has three dedicated media keys for muting audio, and changing volume. The thing about the calculator key that I dislike is that you cannot remap it no matter what. I tried using a third party software called "SharpKeys" that rewrites keys from the registry and it did not work/detect the key. Also keep in mind that the calculator key could come in handy for those who actually do math on a daily basis, or an accountant. Besides that, it's not iKBC's fault, I'm still giving this a 4/5 stars mostly due to the lacking media control keys which I used ALL THE TIME with my previous keyboard, so it's just a lack of features. The good things about this keyboard is the build quality. From what I can tell, everything is made from a very hard plastic material. There is literally no flex to the board whatsoever. The keyboard is very heavy, making sure that it will not move from it's position on your desk from typing on it. This keyboard has two windows keys, which I'm not sure why but it's there if you want it. This keyboard is just built like a brick and it's amazing in that regard, definitely can see it lasting for several years without issues. Keyboard comes with a keycap remover, and some spare colored keycaps that I will never use, but the option is there so that's good.In conclusion, if you're looking for a "normal" looking mechanical keyboard, buy this. Just be aware that you will be missing out on certain media control keys such as skipping songs, pausing songs, etc. And the calculator key is unmappable from my knowledge. If I find any way to remap the calculator key within the registry or find a way to add more media control options (with FN-key), I'll come back and give this a 5-star rating.I also recommend the Cherry MX Blues. Satisfying click and it's actually not that loud in my opinion.

Very Nice keyboard
It is very nice and good keyboard. I ordered it with brown switched and I am very happy. It is very tactile and I can type with less mistakes and much faster. The downside is that is not possible to order other layouts. for example, I need English US - Russian. I had to purchase Russian stickers in order to get what I need.

Silent, Simple, Sleek
At first I thought I thought it felt a little bit like a membrane keyboard bottoming out the switch. But over time I got used to it. The board itself has a solid build but sadly the wires don't. I wish it was braided because the cable holders are cutting into the wire if you move your keyboard around a lot.

Nice keyboard with high quality switches
Minuses - no backlight and not so many func keys. Other if perfect - nice clicks and keycaps, heavy and stable keyboard. Quite compact. I'm happy as a kid

Orderd twice. Does not have the RGBY keycaps
I ordered this twice now; neither keyboard came complete with the extra RGBY keycaps. So will have to send back again... and hope it comes as completed next time??
