Bought this for a 25 watt radio base station. Solid. Running it for three hours, I never heard the fan at all. Will update as needed but so far, this was a perfect beginner's base station power supply.

Works well for running my mobile CB as a base, power supply provides ample power with no issues.

I use it in the garage and works great it gets pretty warm watch what set it on

Does exactly what I need and the price is very good. I've already used it quite a bit and see nothing at all that would indicate poor performance for years to come. simple, high-quality 12v power supply. I would say that my needs mostly involve testing circuits and not so much for powering devices for long-periods, so I can't speak to that but wouldn't have any doubt it would cover that need all the same

Most reasonable priced unit for a bench supply. Was delivered sooner than expected. Have only used two times so can not comment much on durability. Seems a very solid, well designed unit. Would have liked more options as to connecting to units power output knobs.

I use this as an alternative to 12v battery for testing, so I can't comment on longevity or continuous use, but it seems well constructed. It is reasonable heavy which is perhaps a good thing.

I was using a 1.75 amp power supply to run one of my two way radios, just wasn't putting out enough power so radio was operating poorly. This 5 amp Pyramid is awesome, got a great radio report the first time I keyed up the mic. with this hooked up,. I have another Pyramid power supply I have been running for over a decade but it is a 52 amp variable. They are well built & excellent power supplies. Thanks!

If you’re wondering if this is a waste of money, it’s not! Easy set up and makes for great reception!

I use it to power car radios and a factory chrysler infinity booster and the 7 speakers. Operates perfectly now I don't have to pull radios in an out of a car to test them, this system allows me to convert house power to 12 volts. Very happy with the product, well built.

The supply does a fine job of doing what I bought it for....powering a slot car track. I ran some tests on it before using it for the track and found that with a five amp load, the heat sink gets VERY hot. I think they should de-rate it to a 3 amp continuous, 5 amp surge, which would be more realistic. Otherwise, it's a good supply and is priced right.
