Just had a new carpet fitted and need to cut about 1/4 inch off bottom of door. Would these work

I think the maximum cut depth is 25 or 30mm with these particular blades, so probably not. I bought them for cutting laminate flooring, which they did perfectly. I had to use a hand saw to cut 8mm off the bottom of my door as the blades weren’t long enough. Hope this helps.

Are these blades suitable to cut laminated kitchen worktops, 44mm thick ?

Only ever attempted to cut a kitchen worktop once with a jigsaw and the blade bent. I would expect these would do the same. Ask TopsTools for advice?
