I wanted to get something to leave out on my deck as my pup loves to lounge out there, but in the sun it gets pretty hot. Most of the mats I was finding had a gel in them that could not be used in direct sunlight. This is just a cooling material that gives my pup just enough comfort. Can also be hosed down with cool water for additional comfort. Easy to pack up and store away as well.

I was a bit hesitant with the mixed reviews. I still got it to try out. It's not a gel material, but Maybe a nylon. It's cooler to the touch, and surprisingly stays that way. My cats are always laying on it. I think if it doesn't stay cool enough for you, put it in a bag in the fridge or freezer. My cats love it as is.

Got an XL for my 100 lb Doberman and GSD to try. The XL was smaller than I expected but was enough for them to keep mostly off the ground. However it is extremely thin (enough the wind easily blew it up) and didn’t seem to stay cool at all even in the shade.

My cats do not like it but my dog loves his little blankie for summertime.

Nice pads, but doesn't really keep dogs cool. It's got a silky texture top, but any silky material feels cool til you lay on it. Not what I was looking for.

My cat likes to lie on a table under a window in my room. But the afternoon sun comes in that window and it gets very warm. I bought this with hopes it would stay cool for her so she could still lie in the afternoon sun. This mat did not disappoint! Very happy I bought it for her and I will buy more. Highly recommend this mat. As a matter of fact, I have already recommended to a friend who drives truck to help his dog stay cool while they are in the truck.

Cocoa spends her evenings and most of the afternoon lying on her cute, durable and cool pad! She is so cute carrying it to the space she wants to lie down and cool off after being out in the 100+ temps Texas has in the summer. It is such a nice appearance wherever she decides to place it, the care and cleaning is so easy and there is no odor from her space. I have to say, it makes me happy that I have gotten her a comfortable spot to help her thru the summer! Cocoa admits she is happy too!! I have placed an order for a back up for the car or just as a backup! I had a different brand of cooling pad for our larger dog outside but he wasn’t as happy with it! This is a great gift for your dog that will make you both content and it will last for longer times than the silver ones that tear apart so easily. We give it a higher than the 10 rating!!

Vivo en Cancún y hace mucho calor y a mi niño no le gustan las camitas para ( perritos) entonces duerme sobre frasadas pero generan calor y Vi está súper opción. Y nos encantó.

This product is not what I was expecting at all. The mat does not cool done at all. It is very flimsy material at best. It was a waste of money. The dogs/ cats wont use it. Not impressed at all. Save your money.
