Per the seller, the cap does not stick on the back of the pen.Without the cap on the back of the pen, the pen is very short to the point it is uncomfortable (for me) to write with.Aside from the cap issue, this would be a 5 star pen:Pros: EF nib is extremely smooth, no scratchiness whatsoever on cheap notebook paper. Hongdian ink cartridge plus this EF nib let you write on regular notebook paper without bleeding. Screw type ink converter works well, using it with Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue ink from a bottle. Distinctive "click" when putting cap on pen after writing. Listen for the click to prevent ink accidents. Looks more expensive (like a $100 pen), but not stupid expensive (like a fashion statement).Cons: Cap won't stick on end of barrel; this is by design as confirmed by the seller.If, like me, you need the extra length, don't get this pen. Instead get the Black Forest pen (https://www.amazon.com/Hongdian-Fountain-Titanium-Beautiful-Excellent/dp/B07YK224DZ).I'm going to keep the pen and gift it to someone with smaller hands. I own a large collection of pens from different manufacturers so this problem is not unique:Often pen tips advertised as extra fine or fine hardly meet the standards for such description.This is the case with this pen.Otherwise, as far as good construction, I give it a Five Star rating.

I like the construction of the thing, the heft, and the feel of the finish. But the pen is quite short without the cap, so it is difficult for me to hold. I never had a pen before with a cap that wouldn't post, and will be sure to avoid them in the future. Nib is fine, though.

Quality is high. All metal barrel. Comparable in build quality to the Pilot Metropolitan. Probably about 30-40% heavier than metropolitan.Really happy with it.

Pen feels great, and writes great, but the outer coating is peeling off. I’ve had it for less than a week.

It is a great pen for beginners and is well worth the price. I'm even considering getting more.

An excellent, value-priced fountain pen.

Smoother writing than the forest. Worth purchasing.
