A CCTV Must Have!
I did in 5 minutes, what took me 3 hours to do by finger tip. Fingers are sore, plus I gave up doing the drop cable connections to the back of the DVR. Not to mention I didn't get to finish the 16 connects. late evening because it was miss-delivered. Tool showed up, courtesy of a neighborhood handyman working at the address it got tossed to. I tried it and wow. I couldn't believe I've been trying to do this manually. It's so effective and fun, I can't wait to do the rest of the installation now. 16 disconnects to go. Then another 16 reconnects. Might just put a clinger on the car window offering free bnc connection labor. Any project involving a BNC type connector should have this in this in the toolkit. Goes places your fingers can't fit
I bought some new cameras and the connectors on my DVR were just too close together for me to get the BNC connectors on. I just stopped and went looking for a solution. This is it. A breeze to get the connectors on and off. I wish I had found this tool years ago.

Delivered quickly - worked as intended.
We used this tool for moving the BNC video cables on the back of several DVRs with the BNC connectors arranged in a 2 row by 8 column array, where the 16 connectors are arranged so closely together, it is near impossible to push and turn them, unless you begin at one side and work your way laterally across the connector arrangement. Trying to remove a connector in the middle of the 2x8 array is impossible without a tool like this. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that it did work with multiple BNC (RGBHV) cable assemblies, where the individual coax wires had a larger diameter due to the color-coded strain reliefs, on the back of the individual BNC connectors. This tool would not slide over that increased diameter of the wire leading to the connector, but I'm not sure if it could be modified to do so, or similar tools from other manufacturers take that into consideration. With single wire BNC cable assemblies, or the ones we made ourselves, we did not have any problem.

Grabs well
The previous model I had (Ideal) was smooth metal and was a frustrating tool, but it was all I had. Then I bought this one and it works really well for grabbing the BNC connector and turning it easily. I work with old equipment that has tightly packed BNC connectors in a mass of coax, so this tool is handy. Like others mentioned, if the stress relief on the coax near the connector is thick, then this tool isn't going to help a lot. But for old 3 part BNC connectors or even new snap-n-seal connectors, it works very well.
