Mizuno Women's Wave Kazan Trail Running Shoe

I got these shoes in April 2016 and I can say they are very comfortable and fit with all the described criteria.However i was disappointed by the fact that after a month i found out them cracked on the surface. Considering the fact that I did not use these shoes for running.I love and appreciate the quality of Mizuno products, but very shocked by these pair.

Used these shoes for a nine mile trail in Yosemite, mostly a rocky descent down two waterfall trails that come down from half dome. The shoes were mostly comfortable and lightweight. Only minimal discomfort on the descent, no big problems with the tops of my toes hitting the wall of the shoe like I usually get with hiking boots. The soles were excellent and grippy on the rocks giving me confidence when my legs tired. They are a little narrow through the middle just under the toe box, but easily solved by loosening the first few laces of the shoe. However, you don't want a sloppy, loose shoe running up and down hills. The biggest problem with the shoe is that there needs to be a bit more rubber or waterproof material along the sides of the shoe to keep the dust out. My feet were filthy at the end of the day because the breathable fabric extends down almost to the sole of the shoe.

The most amazing running shoes made for my feet! Seriously people, get fitted at a real running store and you won't have issues with fit or comfort. I've been an avid Mizumo wave inspire girl for 2 years now. These compliment them perfectly. Trail running is easier, these shoes make it so by bring "grippier" and more absorbent in the rocky terrain.

I only wear Mizuno shoes for running because I have such a high arch, Mizuno running shoes are the only ones that actually have enough support for that. I have been wearing Mizunos for years now after getting fitted, and now I won't wear any other brand. My road Mizuno shoes are the wave rider 19, and I got these for the trails. I actually almost like these better for all around general running! The support is amazing, they are incredibly comfortable, and there is great tread for traction on the trails. Great for long distance trail running or just a short sprint. Definitely recommend these shoes for other trail runners!!!

I bought these shoes for trail running and had previously read on Amazon that they run a bit small. I always wear a 9 and the 9.5 I bought honestly felt like a 9.5. Definitely bigger than I had anticipated when I thought that buying a bigger size would make them a perfect fit. HOWEVER, I took them out for a run anyway and after about 3 miles through rivers and over pretty rough terrain I realized that my feet had become swollen and the shoes fit perfectly.Easiest 10K trail run I've ever done. Love these shoes.

After using Newton's for kick boxing, various Jillian Michaels routines and the elliptical, I severely po'ed my left knee and seriously strained/tore my right Achilles. I swapped to Mizunos after getting some intervention from an expert. I got a bit of education regarding heel-to-toe drop. Apparently, I need a higher number i.e., 12mm compared to 4mm. The lower number caused serious issues resulting in Achilles scarring that may prove irreversible.I started with the Wave Rider 19 and Pinnacle Maxx inserts. The knee improved, but I still had Achilles problems in spite of stretching, icing and massage. I needed something for outdoor walking, so on a what-the-heck hunch, I tried the Kazans. O. M. Gosh. This is the first true pain relief shoe wear I've found. I use the Pinnacle Maxx inserts as well. I've taken to wearing these shoes all day whether for workouts or housework or running errands. I'm finally experiencing relief that has allowed for healing where even several days of rest didnt help. I've stocked up on these shoes and rotate them. And even better, the price has been seriously decreased to make stocking up a particularly attractive prospect.There're a gazllion shoes out there because no shoe is perfect for everyone. But this has been a nearly perfect shoe for me.

Love Mizuno shoes! This is my 3rd pair and the fit has been consistent over several years. I have a wide foot and need plenty of room in the toe box. Nike shoes don't fit me because the toe boxes are shallow. I used to wear New Balance, but they changed something in their sizing and the shoes are no longer comfortable - too tight or too loose. My usual size in dress and casual shoes is 7 to 7 1/2, but in Mizuno I wear size 8 and it is perfect.

I've worn mizuno's before but needed a pair that was more robust for snowy roads. These fit as expected though I would recommend you find out your mizuno shoe size at a shoe store before ordering. The soles are really aggressive (almost cleat-like) which make them great for outdoor running but not so great on the treadmill. Uppers are stronger than those on my old pair and have survived some brambly trail runs. They feel like any other natural running shoe I've worn but have more cushioning below the arch. Wouldn't recommend these for lifting/indoor circuit training as they're just a little too tall for agility work.

Perfect fit. good quality. Although not specifically made for snow and ice, they conquered the elements this past winter with no issues at all and held up well.

Muy bueno en terraceria y lodo, solo no me gusta que se resbala en las piedras húmedas o piso húmedo

De bonnes running pour tous types de sol. Semelles anti-dérapantes pouvant ne pas convenir à certains, mon ado qui n'est pas compliqué les à tout de suite adoptées. Mizuno est une excellente marque pour coureurs de fond. Livraison avant la date prévue, emballage nickel, merci !

Chaussures de sport très légères et aérées. Ce ne sont pas des chaussures de trail malgré des crampons qui donnent une bonne accroche sur terrain sec. Le plus: c'est très confortable.
