Heavy Material Industrial Straight Stitch Sewing Machine, Table & Servo Motor Assembly Required.

I was quite anxious to the idea of buying an industrial sewing machine on Amazon, but you can buy with trust from this seller. Everything came in three packages and very quickly: one for the sewing machine head, second one with the servo motor and third one for the table, all in good condition despite the weight ! In case you need to be aware of this detail: my packages were clearly identifiable in their contents with branding names on top. The assembly work was quite long, but it's possible to do it yourself without asking a professional with the right tools. An extra pair of hands comes in handy when lifting heavy parts and looking at others youtube video on how to assemble everything is useful for the task. The seller replies quickly and assisted me in my questions accurately. I highly recommend !

There are no printed instructions. You can find online youtube build vids. The assembly is easy and takes a few hours if you lay out all the parts. The under-table tray is cheap and I did not use it. The wood screws for bobbin winder and belt cover are poor quality for wood, and easily replaced. Otherwise, everything went together well. The table had minimal edge damage (minimal), and is a very nice size, thick and smooth. The motor is strong and speed easy to control. The oiler only spurts into the window at high RPM. I was able to sew 4 layers of 2-3oz leather without issue (easily) using tex 90 thread and the needle that came with the machine. Jacob was the online contact and was VERY fast to answer all of my questions. NOTE: the box is labelled as DDL8700. The tag on the machine states DDL8700H. The H version comes with a few different parts compared to the DDL8700...'heavy' duty parts... Shipping was very fast from long island to ohio. The machine is of excellent build and works nearly silently. I have not had a chance to check tension set-up, but works fine as is....for the cost, great product. Get the 'H' version. Thx!!

Now..when I say no manual..I mean nothing. Not for the table..not for the motor.. not for the machine. Thankfully there are MANY videos on YouTube, but really? $750 and no manual? Now, once I did get it together, it is VERY impressive. Solid, sturdy and very well made. The table, the oil pan and the machine are all very well designed and made. My son had it operating flawlessly once I had it built. A great addition to his set-up, but it really should include manuals for use, maintenance and I stallation.

This has been a nightmare to assemble with no assembly instructions or video. Missing parts and pieces. Came in three boxes of which the largest of the boxes was damaged, torn and retaped. Therefore the table had damage on several spots.

Fantastic price. I followed a video to put table and machine together. After the initial build I did change the location of the foot peddle to align with the knee lift better to sew with a right foot. If you decide to do that all I did was prop up the front legs on bricks to move peddle and line up the bar with motor.

The machine does not come with any instructions, extra bobbins, needles nothing and it's hard to get support from anyone, I tried going online to juki help and they want you to enter a credit card to get assistance. This is the biggest mistake I've made purchasing this machine. I don't know why Amazon allow these kinda sellers on their site. I'm very disappointed in them and this juki machine. Never got it to work the seller gave me the run around for weeks. The machine is dead. Amazon did credit me with a gift card but the seller did nothing.

Its absolutely the heaviest machine I have ever picked up to sew. There were 3 separate packages because they all weigh so much for the industrial metal. Perfect! Thank you and will respond further after assembly and testing. I just sewed my first item and it was like a dream. This machine purrs like a tiger. I literally went through multiple layers of tent canvas like a hot knife through butter. All the parts were there. Assembly was perfect. The table ruler was off by 1/4 inch every 32 inches but so what...the industrial quality of the machine was priceless. Like another 25 years of service priceless, this is going to be great. That machine is so powerful, I have upgraded from an old Brother.
