Wow
Sitting by this ring with nice fire four years later and realized I never write a review. When I got it I thought cheap POS but will do for moment. Assembled and did paint with high temp spray paint. Pit is on the ground 24/7 at my ranch exposed to the elements that will rust a 55 gallon drum into the ground. It’s showing minimal surface rust after four years and zero structure degradation despite use 3-4 times a week. I cook on it with pieces of rebar and grate every night I’m here. Super easy to pick up when I need to mow. One of my most pleasant surprise purchases, and if it ever need to be replaced I buy exact same thing.Note it is just a ring tibsrtbon barr ground so couldn’t be used on patio or similar. Highly recommend especially at such a reasonable price. .

Fantastic base for your own designer fire pit.
This fire ring is great. I was able to look at several other pictures of this product online and build my fire pit around this ring. It is a really good size and is sturdy enough to stay put. I put pavers around the outside and river rock under both the fire pit and the pavers. I read this was a good idea for drainage purposes, so that you don't end up with mud at the bottom. I also did this to elevate the ring a little to be able to see the cut outs above the pavers. (I tried this both ways and liked it raised on top of the rock the best.) This shipped fast and I built the fire pit myself in 2 days - it would have taken 1, but I wanted more rock to make the ring higher. I have a young son and I didn't worry about the stability of this at all - I know this has been a question for some - the pavers really made it steady even if knocked against. This is a great find - I posted pictures online and lots of friends have already been asking where they can get one and if they can copy me!

Nice substitute for building a large fire pit.
The thing was easy to put together if you had the right wrench. That would have been nice to specify that wrench size in the instructions. It went together well. A nice 3-foot wide circle. I laid down a bag or two of sand underneath it to level out the yard. Then I placed a ring of bricks around it because this ring can get really hot that close to the fire. I've heard that otherwise, folks tend to rest their feet on it and that's not safe. I've used it a couple of times (with really hot fires, probably too much wood) and had no problems. It has kept its shape. No sign of any paint flaking or rust.

very nice fire ring!
i love the aesthetic appeal. i have had a few back yard bonfire parties and have received great comments on it. i bought some pavers from lowe's (two rows) to mount it on. I still need to mortar the pavers to keep them together, and then secure the ring to the pavers in some fashion. (right now, if you throw a piece of firewood into the fire pit, pavers and ring get rearranged).i did not give this 5 stars because it is a lighter guage metal than I was expecting. the metal is a bit thin, but, the price is right. i just wish it were a bit more rigid.it is a great addition to a small backyard, and works well for a small fire ring. it looks good in the daylight and is lovely at night, with a fire blazing.

We set it up and enjoyed it right away
We set it up and enjoyed it right away. It works very well and looks very nice. We only wish it had some form of braces that would help hold it in place. We edged our fire circle with Key shaped edging brick (layed flat), we then placed the Cobra ring in the center and filled in with lava rock, both inside and outside of the Cobra. We buried about 3" of the ring in the lava rock, and it stayed just where we put it. We put the chairs right on the grass, right at the edge of the lava rock circle. I plan to purchase some square terra-cotta stepping stones/tiles to place in-between the chairs, for friends to use for cups, cans, or bottles.

Horse/Cabin/Equestrian/Southwestern Design Made For Creative Use - Excellent!
Fantastic addition as a border to our portable, free-standing fire pit!Because our fire pit is smaller than this campfire ring, we constructed the ring using only 3 out of 4 sections included. The remaining section we will use as the decorative base for a demi-luna shelf to be hung on the wall of the enclosed porch. Use your creativity with this fire ring. The pieces would make a distinctive border for a patio/kitchen table top as well! The sections would also make an upscale hanging utensil/cookware rack for the kitchen. Raised flower bed border? Base for casual seating? Base for foot stool? Round cafe table or petite kitchen/patio island?Excellent finish, easy assembly, fine design, great posiblities!Highly recommended.A++

Perfect for our application
We love sitting outside on crisp fall nights and anytime that it is not too warm to sit around a fire. It is amazing how a group can sit around a fire and be transfixed on the flames. Even if there is little conversation I am satisfied to commune around a fire.We laid landscape blocks in a circle (they were about 5 inches high) put in a layer of sand so as not to mar the brick patio and laid a round of blocks in and it was a perfect fit contained the fire ring, and still showed the figure of the horses. We bought a 12 pack of Mystical Fire colorant on amazon, and the children were amazed.By the way, assembly was a snap, I did paint them with heat resistent black paint to prolong the life, but probably not necessary.

Inexpensive, Easy to put together and Perfect for any backyard setting....
This fire ring did the trick, it was very easy to assemble, I placed 9- 12 inch concrete slabs under it (which were $1.55 at Home Depot) and placed about 4-6 pieces of fire wood in the center. I have lit it 3 times in the past 3 weeks and the it was perfect. It kept the embers in place, it did get hot to the touch (as any ring would) and the kids were able to make smores, burn hot dogs without any worry of them being burnt. This is a perfect, very inexpensive way to have a fire pit in your backyard, especially in urban cities with a nice yard. Please remember to keep it out in the grass and far away from your house as possible.
