I needed help to get started, the instructions were clear, but it was just being stubborn. I e-mailed support they got back with me overnight. I got everything working and have been using it all week on just the "beep" sound. I have one mini schnauzer who is super-barky whenever we are out- walking, in the car, at a store. And I got one of the training collars based on my sister's success with her doby, but trying to handle 3 small dogs and a big bulky collar and use a remote dangling from my neck at the same time just doesn't work for walks, car rides, and field trips. We also have a neighbor kitty-corner behind us who is a bully and cusses the girls out if they look at him, let alone bark in their general direction. This collar is great! It is lightweight, non-harmful, and suddenly my girl went from "that child" to perfect canine student. Now instead of barking on a walk she will "talk" (an inflected grumbly, schnauzer type) - if it beeps, she immediately comes back to me and looks for direction. When we get home I take it off. So, she knows when I put it on we are going out to do something. I'm hoping with work, she eventually won't need it, but until then. It works! A big bonus for this collar is that it is chargeable (no batteries needed), it is lightweight, you have a lot more control with the settings than most of the similar collars. Great value for the money!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! LOVE this collar! An Extreme barker, our 12 lb, 9 yr old Chihuahua Mix Rescue figured out on 2nd bark the barking was causing the noise & vibration he didn't like & stopped - I was shocked & so happy a shock collar wouldn't be needed like animal control said might be. Hate the idea of shock collars even. This, at least, doesn't hurt them, just startles them to interrupt behavoir, annoy them at worst. This worked immediately & on the lowest setting! We only used it a few times & he's rarely barking now, even when not wearing it. Next time I put it on, I'll use only sound. I've only had this a few weeks & have only used it maybe 1/2 dz times. I only put it on if he starts up again.Didn't have to cut excess strap, just threaded it back into buckle (didn't want to cut if it didn't work so I could return it.)Flashing Light mode for Night walks is a plus, though its not very bright & slow "flash" rate doesn't make it that noticeable, but not reason I bought it.It does it's job very well. Easy to understand, set, use & charge. I am beyond satisfied with this collar.My dog was driving everyone crazy with his incessant barking, even people walking across the street from our home (from inside the house!) He barked at neighbors (3) whenever they were in their yards & cars in office parking lot behind yard, activity at B&B 2 doors over, when phone rang, even after answering... our blood pressure was through the roof & the neighbors were fed up... Now everyone is happy & he seems to be calmer & less nervous too.I resisted this for a long time, but positive reinforcement wasn't working. With an Elderly Mom who couldn't help with training, situation was continually getting worse, especially as her health has declined & she's now on Hospice.I want to buy another for her dog now, who gets in his own fair share of barking. I was Lucky & got this for a great intro sale price ($9.97). It's since gone up to twice that, which is in line with the rest on the market & still worth it.

We purchased this product for our 12 month old Mini Aussie in hope of breaking his habit of barking. He did not stop barking when the collar alerted him or vibrated. We could see the light and hear the sound from the vibration and he did not stop barking. Its seemed like an inexpensive solution/ aid in puppy training but it did not work for us or our pup.

My little dog is very yappy when she’s not wearing her collar, but once it is on she doesn’t dare bark. Bark loud enough and the collar beeps and vibrates. The battery life is excellent too. I’ve had it for over a year now and it’s still great.

Works great on small dogs. Dose not shock them just vibrates and makes a beeping sound that they dislike. Great for behavior correction with yapping little dogs.

My dog I'd a beagle and the color did not fase him in the least but it got great reviews and it was so easy to use

Bought 2 of these bark collars they did not last long would not recommend bought in July and were not working by September.
