THIS is the cell phone holder I needed. I've tried SO many. the design is brilliant. you just drop your phone in. no wrestling to get it in or out AND YET it still holds it snugly (gravity-based) so that it doesn't go flying out at you. So short of rolling your car, it should stay put. it had a nice quality feel to it. for reference, I have an old Galaxy Note 9it has a fairly small non-bulky footprint and no stupid suction cups. it hooks behind the slats of your air vents and then has a dial to adjust snuggly. a second dial allows you to tighten the angle for holding the phone. it should work even in cars with vertical vents instead of horizontal, but it probably wouldnt be ideal.The vent that it's attached to can still be used. I MIGHT have to close the vent in the winter (or just wait until the car warms up and the heat isn't blasting), but in the summer it will for sure keep the phone from overheating the way it did in the dashboard holders.the data/charging cord can easily be inserted or removed while the phone is in the charger.I placed it on my center driver side vent which is a perfect placement for me to see the GPS without it interfering with anything else.I was looking at cup holder phone holders when I stumbled on this one and I'm so glad that I got it instead (and the price was fantastic)The only downside I can see is that you can only position the phone in portrait mode (no option for landscape that I can see)

Very secure and easy to install and use. The only con is that the bottom guard rails partially block an android phone's bottom edge of the screen where the location of the back button icon and active apps button are. Still accessible but slightly obscured, so I'm looking for a solution to slightly raise/lift my phone's seating on the mount without making it look obviously out of place.I also thought it'd be cool if they added slot for an aromatherapy pads since it's already set at the perfect spot for those and would save me some vent space.

I love this holder because there are no annoying buttons, springs, or gimmicks to deal with. You literally just drop the phone in and the gravity grip hooks it in place automatically. It stays completely secure on the vent, doesn't rattle, and makes it way easier to grab your phone when you get out of the car. Simple and just works.

I have owned many different phone mounts over the years. I've tried suction mounts, magnetic, and a few different vent mounts. Some phone falls out of the holder and some don't always keep their suction or stay connected to the vent or all of the above. My most recent one fell and then broke upon contact with the ground. It was time to try something new and I took a chance on this after seeing it highly rated in a list of recommended phone holders.Installation took a minute or two to figure out, but not too long overall. Once it is locked onto your vent, it isn't going anywhere until you decide you decide to do move it. The phone moves easily into the holder and grips it like a vise, but isn't difficult to move. No buttons to press, either. The mount is also maneuverable enough so that the person in the passenger seat can change the music selection if needs be.This does exactly what I want. It keeps the phone in place at an accessible position while not interfering with my driving. Nor do I have to worry it might fall while I'm using a mapping app at a critical intersection!Update 8/13: Less than 3 months later one of the screws holding the grip in place fell out rendering the unit useless. It was still the best mount I've ever owned up until that point. Guess we'll find out how good their customer service is.Update 10/15: Dealing with Anopoe wasn't too bad. They sent me a new one free (though not prime shipping speed). This one lasted from about 8/20 until today. Same issue. The right-handed clamp suddenly came apart when i put it in, so they need to improve the durability of this product. This is hands down one of the best phone mounts I’ve ever used that mounts to the vent. This one is simply just one step above all the button ones. Why? Well because it opens and locks in very securely only with motion. 10/10. Must buy.

This is great. I love that it securely holds my phone, but it's also so quick & easy to get my phone in & out of it. I got my own after using one my hubby keeps in his Jeep. I attached it to a different mount that attaches to my CD player so I don't cover my much needed vents. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been looking for high-quality, hassle-free car phone holders and finally found one!Car holders have 2 problems: stability and ease of use.Most which are easy to use are ones which work on sticking to the bonnet or a vacuum seal. These don’t age well as they get worn out by sunlight and lose their ‘stickiness’ and hence stability. I bought 3 such and all of them ended up wasted.The ones which clip onto the AC vents are usually harder to use. And most versions don’t have a good clamp and easily get dislodged. I bought 2 such and wasted within 2 months.This one solves all problems! And I got it for ₹1299 which I feel is quite reasonable for the design and build quality. Good stuff 👍🏽
