Crosley CR42-OA Lancaster (Oak) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I was hesitant to purchase a modern day record player at first, as the reviews of them online were varied. I read lots of negative things about the sound, how they broke right after purchase, etc. I've had mine for over a month and have used and enjoyed it ever since. The sound is very good, all the features work great and it looks very nice on display. Amazon had a better price on it than the retail stores did, and there's really nothing bad I have to say about it. I haven't tried the cassette player yet or audio in yet, but it plays records, cds and the radio perfectly.

Came very quickly and is easy to use. Lots of features which is what I was looking for. The Radio and the CD Player both sound AMAZING, especially the CD player.What'd I buy this for though ultimately? The record player! It does its job very well and sounds quite good. I recommend this if you're looking for a multi-function record player

Got this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loved the classic look and the fact that it could play several media forms including her Iphone. I like that the lid can close while a record is in it. Only issue I saw was that the needle arm support comes over the record which makes it difficult to take the record in and out sometimes.

After reading alot of confusing reviews on other turntables, we chose this one, even though it had no ratings. This turned out to be a great purchase. It is physically beautiful and had more features than we expected. While there is no adjustment for treble or bass, the sound from all the components is great for the price. I recommend this item!!

Received this from my family as a birthday gift, aftef lo.ging to here my old collecfion of vinyl for some time. I was very excited as I unwrapped it, only to be eqully disappointed when I attempted to play my first record. The cheap plastic turntable was so warped it wod not play. At all. I boxed it up and retrned it. I did go immediately to my local Target to buy a Crosby syztem that I could inspect first, and I really like it. The sound is clear, but not nearly loud enough. I wish it had the automatic arm that my old system had. When the record is finished, it simply turns off and the needle stays on the record.Given all this, it is beautjful and I am enjoying it. I rated ghe one I got from Amazon low because it didn't work. The one I picked up locally is fun.

The record player would not turn on, even after trying to player in three known working outlets. We returned it and bought a cheaper version from WalMart.

My father-in-law wanted this, so I bought it for him. It is a nice stereo with a beautiful furniture appearance. He immediately brought out his records...the sound is lovely.

it was the best gift for christmas for my father and my mom. they love useing the radio and mp3 player hookup. the sound is great.
