An excellent resource
I've recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure and bought this book to help me make dietary changes.This book is an excellent source of science backed, evidence based research and information about a healthy diet for people with hypertension. Priya's sound advice has helped me to make some long overdue changes. It's not easy doing this by yourself. I've always thought my diet was reasonable but in reality, it's been unbalanced and this book has helped me to learn how to change that.There's excellent information about different food groups, sample meal plans to get you started and some recipes.It's well laid out. There are no pictures but it's not intended to be a glossy recipe book. If you want reliable advice then this book provides it. Take some time to read it and then plan some small changes to get you started. I feel different already.I'd love to see a recipe book too!

Great book worth the money

Practical and easy to put into action.
This easy to read book provides a well informed basis for a more healthy diet. I’ve kept with it for four months and lost 10% of body weight to be much more in shape. I enjoy making the recipes and find them to be filling and nutritional. I highly recommend this book.

I’d recommend
I bought this book for my father who suffers with high blood pressure. I read a lot of it before sharing it to ensure it was right for him (he’s in his 70s) and found it simple to read and absorb with lots of useful scientifically based info and recipes.

Great introduction to the topic
Found it clear and informative as well as with helpful common sense guidance to thinking about heart health.Very useful introduction to topic with a good range of recipes to get started.
