Ok, I read most negative reviews. They all said it wouldn’t dissolve and the taste is bad.I found if you mix it with a 1/3 of HOT water and mix fast, it will dissolve so much better. Then fill with ice and cold water and continue to mix. It’s not 100% dissolved but pretty close. There is another well known brand that has to mix their herbal teas this way for it to dissolve, so that gave me the idea. Taste is more beets than fruity, but if you like beets- like me, it’s totally fine. I do think the flavor will grow on you. I like the fact that it contains beets. Read up on the health benefits! Especially if you’re a runner or an endurance athlete- beets are amazing for you. I’ve personally tested the theory on increasing your endurance with beets and it works. I stopped drinking and eating beets for months and my endurance did decline more, back to my level pre beets I ate daily. Read up on it and you’ll see what I’m talking about.Give this drink a chance!

Ordered this without looking at reviews and rating it 3 stars for efficiency, formulation (pretty clean), and good energy ..but 2 stars off for taste. It's not horrible - it pretty much tastes like sweetened beet juice with some other stuff thrown in and like lots of sediment at the bottom even after shaking it up. I tried adding some lemon juice to balance out the flavor and it kind of helped but I'm hoping they come out with a different flavor or something cause I really like how it feels as a preworkout.

The worst! First off I asked the company when they would be launching this and was told 2 weeks, after 3 weeks went by I asked for a follow up and they said “any day now”, and after another 2.5 weeks I emailed again and they ignored me. Figurative bad taste in my mouth. Then it launches and I order and this morning was my first try and it’s terrible!!! I have had the KoS Reds before and that was ok. This Orgain energy is nasty! I tried hard to choke it down but not possible and had to dump it. Felt nauseous about trying. Literal bad taste in my mouth. It tastes like if beets were a chemical. Strong beet taste mixed with chemicals although the product seems to not contain any. I will say it is very clean and I was excited to find an organic energy powder but I can’t do it. Will not be buying again.

3 stars for ingredients-I’m happy it’s clean and I’m actually trying to replace my morning coffee with a healthier option. But the taste and texture are AWFUL. Dissolved in 750ml bottle, but it’s still grainy and won’t dissolve completely. And the taste. Eww. It somehow tastes artificial despite the natural ingredients. So much 0 calorie sweetener all I can taste is stevia(? I think?). Still gets 3 stars for providing clean energy. You’ll have to shoot it down in one gulp though to stand the taste and texture.

I was hoping to find a pre-workout that was more natural and didn't contain red 40 but still tasted good. This is one of the worst tasting pre-workouts I have tried and I have tried a lot. If you were going for just the red coloring it really only needed a splash of beet but this is so overpowering in flavor. I am unable to review the overall product of a pre-workout because I can't even get past the taste or smell to drink it.

Disgusting! The pre energy powder did not dissolve in over 16 oz of water (recommends 12-16 oz) and the taste was unbearable. If I could return it, I would. Now I’m out $25 and stuck with this disgusting stuff. Orgain, I like so many of your products but this one is embarrassing. Did you guys even taste it before you mass produced it?

Yes, all these reviews on here about how horrible it tastes are true. I really love Orgain and buy TONS of their products, but this one is just so bad. You can’t return it once you buy it so please save your money. The recovery drink mix is amazing so just get that.

It gave no energy and tastes like the worst thing on earth. Wouldn’t even let me return. I now have 2 bottles of the crap. I’d give both back to Amazon for free if they’d let me.
