Dove is kind of my guilty pleasure. Ok, maybe not so much guilty. It is just one of those bar soaps that actually make my skin feel nice. It is super lathering, and makes for a great shaving soap. As well as body washing soap and if need be, for my face (though usually I go for something different). It never ever irritates my sensitive skin.I absolutely adore the scent of the classic white Dove beauty bar. Reminds me of my childhood. We never actually had it in our home, but a friends house I stayed at all the time used Dove. I bathed all the time there, and used these creamy soaps that were oh so different from the harsh soaps used at home. Then a little later as a teen, I made a friend whose family also used Dove. It has a memorable scent, and I remember then it brought me back in time. It scents up the bathroom a bit, and I can always recognize it when I am near a bar. Now forward many years and I have been buying my own soap. Basically got into body washes, then fancy soaps, and eventually went back to good old Dove bar. It just brings me a little joy to smell it, and the nice soft cleansing that it has makes it a perpetual favorite. I may try other stuff, but I come back to Dove. It is just lovely.

Honestly, I think this is the best soap I have ever used. It's so moisturizing and the scent isn't strong. If you're looking for a soap bar that doesn't have a strong smell and is moisturizing then this is perfect for you. Before using it I struggled a bit with my skin drying throughout the day but this has made me feel less cracky and more smooth. It's​ a gentle soap that can be used everywhere.

It's Dove soap, so, you know, it's perfectly fine, especially if you have sensitive skin and can't use products with scents and whatnot in them. The only weird thing, and this isn't a complaint about the soap, mind you, but the soap was ordered as part of a larger order of stuff, and I selected "group my items together" (and I don't have Prime). For whatever reason, the soap arrived two days later, alone, in a massive box filled with layers and layers of high-quality bubble wrap, all for a few dollars worth of soap. It's nice that the soap arrived unbroken, but the packaging alone probably cost more than the soap. It's odd, is all. Again, the soap is fine because, well, it's Dove soap.

I have plaque psoriasis I use another product along with the Dove and Dove is the best skin softening soap or body wash there is out there nothing has worked for me but I'm not allergic to it is perfectly smoothing my skin has not been too soft in years and I have been using this product of Dove for now 3 4 months straight and I love it the first week I started using it I felt softer skin by 30% then after that it's almost progressed to 100% cleared up I have been clearing up my psoriasis using dove and I fought for a year-and-a-half trying to get something to help me and this product did it!

Good ol’ Dove bar, never disappoints. I love Dove products but their body washes tend to be too oily for me. Their bar soap on the other hand gives me the right about of clean and moisturizer to make my skin happy. The scent is great as well!

My friend uses this religiously to wash her face, and I was skeptical until I tried it myself. It works perfectly without drying the skin!The main reason decided to try this product is because I am looking to reduce my plastic consumption. I love that (asides from the plastic wrapper on the outside) these come packaged in cardboard.I removed one star because my only complaint is that when this stuff gets in your eyes it stings a lot. Next time I will try the sensitive version in the hope it helps, but overall I'm happy with this affordable alternative to liquid face wash.

I got this for a great price as an add on while I was ordering other things and it was just so convenient to have it come to my door--nice to have some back up Dove anytime!

I love the fresh, clean scent of Dove. I try other soaps from time to time, but always come back to this. It's gentle on the skin and softening. I have very sensitive skin that's prone to eczema and rashes in the winter, and Dove helps keep the dryness away better than most. Love it!
