I LOVE this book
I LOVE this book! It is full of monologues that are modest, challenging, yet age appropriate for young kids to older elementary school aged kids. I am a voice and musical theater director for youth performers and I use this book on a daily basis with my private students as they expand their acting range. They absolutely love the monologues provided in this book and the variety of different styles to choose from. My students continue to want more and more! I highly recommend this book to any teachers and families interested in introducing their children to the performing arts.

It's ok...
Meh. It's ok. The monologues are very basic. Skews on the very young side.

Perfect for Younger Kids
My daughter takes an acting class where they audition each semester for plays and this book has been great so far! She enjoys picking a monologue to perform. The monologues are perfect length for my daughters age.

Useless
This book was pretty much useless I felt. The monologues as less then 30sec any audtion your kid will go to will want at least a minute if not two. I could see how if it was your 6/7 year olds first play it might work but so would having them memorize a poem so not worth the money in my opinion.

Just read!
It is a good book however there are no sad or heart breaking monologues, it is only comdey and semi-comedi which is half serious, half comedy. This book is not suitable for 13 year old actors , I would say 7 to 10. There is good termonology in the book and it is written well but is aimed at a younger audience. If your looking for a serious or sad monologue this isnt the book! Thank you for reading, now choose to get it or not, it wasnt what i was looking for.

Not for Kids below 10
It might be just me or my daughter's lack of comprehension at the age of 6, but the content is more suitable for kids of 9+.The book is well written and the way it explains how to act is actually quite interesting.
