how critical is the 12 inch clearance at the top of microwave? Mine is a clearance of 6 inches with open space on both sides.

How do you use the 3-legged metal stands? Is micro-convection cooking done on the plate or the stand?

For those interested in this query from over a year ago...I just watched a video on YouTube for this oven and they showed that you can cook a pizza or other items on parchment paper right on the rotating plate for the microwave and convection mode. The stand was not needed. You might check into YouTube there is a bunch of videos on this item I’m planning on buying it myself and I’ve just been going through them this morning
