Decent little grow light but with exaggerated claims
These grow light uses about 110 W of power, not 1100 W as claimed and even as printed on the spec sticker on the housing. It measures about 10 x 6 x 2 in. and comes with a simple, non-adjustable hanger wire.It will only work when approximately horizontal. The fan runs automatically when the tandem COB white and blue LED setting is used. The red LED setting is controlled separately and there is also a power rocker switch. The biggest problems are that it gets very hot despite the vents and fan to the point that the heat can affect the protective lens and it is also not at all resistant to entry of water or even high humidity, which is omnipresent when growing plants. Those attributes are expected with this type of light, though. It will cover only a small area with any useful intensity, about 0.5 m2 or 5 to 6 ft2, rather than the much larger area claimed. It would certainly not be appropriate for a greenhouse as shown in the faked images. At best, it is good for three pots placed close together or a single large flat.

Super Bright Like a Football Game
Some reviewers for these products say that some high watt units have less light output than lower watt units. This grow light really is as bright as it claims. There is no manufacturer named on the product box but the Amazon product page says it is sold by Beautytrees. I have two 800 Watt units made by other manufacturers and they are nowhere near as bright as this one can get when both dials are set to maximum. And this is a new feature that I have never seen on grow lights before this season: you can adjust the brightness of the two colors depending on what plant(s) is being lighted. A single plant or seedlings a few inches away? Turn down the brightness. Many large flowering plants? Turn up the flowering color. Turn up the "veg" dial when plants start to seed and for healthy vegetation. (Who would use this for plants producing vegetables? These things are used in home hydroponics setups. Check YouTube.)This is so bright it will light up a whole room like a workman's floodlight. In my case it shines through the family room window and lights up the whole back yard in a red glow. There is a built-in fan that sounds heavy duty so it must be doing quite the job at cooling even these LED bulbs. All four of my grow lights of similar design have the same sounding fan motor. This is a well made light. I would prefer a square light instead of this trimmed off football shape, but that is personal preference. The labeling for "VEG" and "FLOWER" is stamped into the metal and painted over. You will want to use a Sharpie to make it easier to read. The manufacturer should have labelled the dials better. And for starting trays of seeds this single light will cover 4 feet x 4 feet. Your trays of seeds probably take a much smaller footprint. I have a similar light on a bunch of potted plants that I moved to the garage in the fall in an area 4' x 4' and they are thriving ... when I remember to water them. All in all - an excellent grow light you will be happy with.

#Burnt out light with in 38 days of receiving
UPDATE: I Bought the 2nd and received it on May 10th 38 days from opening the box and plugging in the brand new light it has died. 9 days after the 30 day Amazon return window. Need a replacement or refund for this broken product.Great light for a great price. Been using this light for about a month now and my plants are very happy. I can move the light around and come back to the plants leaning in the new direction. Green and vibrant plants are all I need to give this light 2 thumbs up. Lights stays cool to warm to the touch, the ability to turn on or off the Vegetation to Flower is so easy. Would definitely buy it again.

bright, powerful, small package
The fan has a little bit of noise at high speed, maybe about as much noise as your kitchen stove fan on low setting. The fan seems to adjust in speed as you dial up the VEG dial. For growing just after seed germination as a seedling I'd imagine this will cover a couple 1020 flats or about a 2 foot by 2 foot area when mounted about 30 to 32 inches high, that is how other lights I have with similar wattage describe in instructions and I find works pretty good. They don't provide much information on coverage area and intensity measurements, they only make a claim of 2 square meters of coverage which makes no sense. I docked it a star just for lack of information and the vague claim of 2 square meters....With both dials maxed out it pulls about 113 watts, if you have only the VEG dial max it draws 53 watts, and with only the BLOOM dial maxed it draws 58 watts. So for sure its is a very efficient light if it will do what it claims, time will tell.

Awesome Grow Light
I've got several different types of grow lights and all of them help my plants make it through the winter. We have to take all of our deck plants inside lest they succumb to freezing weather. We have a long table next to our kitchen windows where we have placed most of them. I hung this grow lamp over one end and it has worked well. I still have to use my other grow lights for the other end of the plant table to get them all covered by the light. This Grow lamp seems to be very well constructed and is kind of heavy. I like that the instructions tell me what kind of light to use and how much. I always just guessed at that. Please don't lose the thin instruction sheet which has a table showing what light for what type of plants/growing. I will be starting some seedlings soon and will be using this lamp to help them come up. The instructions say to use VEG light at 60-80% and zero BLOOM light for seeds. The knobs to control that are quite substantial. There is nothing "cheap" about this lamp and I expect it to last for many years. It comes with some wire to hang it with.

Sturdy light
The media could not be loaded. Really good-looking green color. Very well made light. I have been an avid gardener for years but I have never had the opportunity grow indoors. This was pretty easy to set up in my laundry room. It has a nice cooling fan in it, and it’s got some weight to it, seems like very nice quality.
