Overall pretty good
I use this adapter ring so that I can use graduated neutral density filters with may camera. It works very well and is a key part in holding everything in place but I have never, for the entire time I've owned it, been able to get it to screw on easily. Perhaps it's a combination of the adapter and the 10 stop ND filter I'm usually using it with but it can be a little frustrating at times.I know there are complaints about the reflectiveness but I have never run into any issues. Again, I'm using it with both an ND filter and a GND filter so perhaps that's why I've never run into trouble even in the brightest settings.Beyond that it's great. There isn't much to say about a small metal ring. It works, it's light, and it makes using GND filters possible with my camera.

Cokin Z Pro: Flexible and Cost Effective
I really like the Cokin Z Pro system for its flexibility. Let's face it, the filters themselves aren't on par with B+W (or similar) and there is a gap between the lens and the filter that you don't have to worry about with a screw on filter. However, I can use this system with all of my cameras from 35mm to 8x10 and at a fraction of the cost of buying all the filters I'd want for each thread-size. If you've got more than just a small number of lenses with different thread sizes, this system is really hard to beat. The aluminium rings are well made and fit correctly; the filter holder design is quite good, allowing for three to four filters, and the filters themselves, although plastic, are available for a wide range of applications.

Good thin adapter ring for Cokin Z-Pro
These adapter rings work with the Cokin Z-Pro holder and they slide in onto the holder from the bottom and are locked in with 3 safety notches (2 at the bottom, 1 at the top)They are quite thinner and lighter than the equivalent adapter rings from the other manufacturer but they seem to be similar in price.Since I use a slide-in polariser on the first slot, I had not had the issue with the reflections on the white branding in front of the adapter ring as mentioned in the other reviews. With their relative size, they screw in quite easily, far better than the wide angle adapter rings of the other 100mm filter holders from the other manufacturers.

It does what it is designed to do
I find the entire Cokin Z filter system incompatible with Lee filters that have the foam seal to seal out all light during the exposure. There is an imprint label in the plastic housing the interferes with smooth sliding of the filter and light is allowed to pass between the seal and the filter holder which causes a foggy look to the image. Im not talking about the desired affect of murky water with long exposures, Im talking about the entire image; sky and all. If you plan on doing long exposures, I recommend the Lee filter kit.

One big design flaw
The Cokin 77mm Z series adapter ring works fantastically as advertised, and as the previous review said it does screw on and off very easily. It is solid, does its job of holding the filter holder on, etc..The problem comes when you take a photo of something bright (which is pretty much what these things are for) and you get a burry white arc from the reflection of the text "COKIN - Ø77 - th 0.75 - FRANCE" that is painted on the outside of the adapter. The only way to fix this is to paint over it, which is what I intend to do today. If I wanted DIY, I would've done it myself, so instead of rating 5 stars, I'm rating 2 stars. I'll rate 5 if they ever fix this and send me one that doesn't have the problem.

Just the right fit
I have a Canon 50mm 2.5 and sometimes I use it with my Cokin Z filter holder. At first I was a little bit skeptical because my lens goes in and out to zoom, but since it doesn't rotate there is no problem. This adapter woks just fine. Made of steel it's the right fit and very sturdy.

Works as described and expected.
threads are clean and smooth going on and it simply works. It fits my 24 mm 1.4 just fine and allows for the Z holder to attach with minimal hassle.

Proper Adapter
I believe if your going to use any camera equipment on a expensive lens its best to buy a quality one as the threads are so fine. A cheap Copy might ruin your lens threads.Cokin quality check their adapters.

Easy to fit, expensive
Easy to fit and sturdy by screwing in to the front of the lens and allows the filter holder to fit, in this case a 77mm lens thread.

Excellent quality proves you get what you pay for!
This adapter is required to fit the Cokin pro-Z filter holder to any camera lens with a 77mm filter thread. It came in a sealed packet. It feels well made, nicely machined and solid, and fitted the filter holder easily. The screw thread was smooth and accurate when I attached it to a lens. It's not cheap, but quality costs, and all the 100mm x 100mm square filter systems by other manufacturers such as Lee, Tiffen, Hitech and are also aimed at pro users and similarly priced.

Excellent quality, don't get the cheaper versions!
Why am I writing a review on a piece of milled aluminium? Because as my friend found out to his cost, there are cheaper versions out there, but the quality fails in may areas-his unit fell out the threads and broke his LEE Big Stopper -£90.00 down the drain. This Cokin Adapter is superb quality, the threads fit great, and there is no play in the mount. You are 100% getting your monies worth!

Good product
Very good product, solidly made and fits nicely onto the end of my 67mm diameter lens. The only drawback is that the white writing on the front of the adapter ring occasionally reflects off the filters and appears in some images taken at night. This only happens rarely though.
