The swan neck part of the tap is not sturdy
Wished the swan neck part would have been more stable. Was okay for the price.

Levers the Wrong Way Around
I’ve just purchased the Home Standard Acel Lever mono basin sink mixer tap and as already mentioned when the levers are pointing towards you the tap is turned off and when they are pointing vertically up the tap is fully on.This is completely out of step with all the other taps in my house.Below is a description of what I did in order to rectify the problem, a pain I know but if you’re like me and want all the taps to work the same there’s nothing for it but to swop the valves around, below is an account of how I did it.Anyone not confident should get a qualified plumber to do the job, I accept no responsibility for anyone attempting this themselves. It could also affect the guarantee but I can live with that.Would I buy the tap again, definitely they aren’t a bad price and seem well made apart for the levers being the wrong way around, but for some people that may not be an issue.1: Remove the two operating levers, they both undo by turning them anticlockwise, if they are tight wrap some rag around the levers and use pliers gently just to slacken them.2: Remove the two allen screws which are then visible, again they undo anti clockwise, a 2mm allen key will be needed.3: With the allen screws removed, slide the two chrome barrels off, one has C marked on it, the other is marked H.4: Remove the then exposed phillips screws, which hold the white plastic bushes on.5: Pull the white plastic bushes off, they are internally splined onto the brass spindles.6: Use a 15mm ring spanner to undo the valves, again they undo anticlockwise, I just placed the tap on a piece of carpet and put my foot gently on the swivel spout and gave the spanner a sharp hit with a hammer, it wasn’t too tight as the tap had not been used and so there was no lime scale build up on everything.7: When the valves were removed, I could see a blue seating washer on one of the valves and a red one on the other. It does not make any difference if these sitting washers are left on their respective valves although the blue will be on the hot side of the tap and the red on the cold side but once the valves are reassembled back into the body of the tap they can’t be seen.I swopped mine over, its just a matter of choice.I put the slightest smear of silicon on the red and blue seating washers making sure it wasn’t too much so it would not squeeze up onto the ceramic discs and prevent them from working correctly, a smear was also put on the rubber O ring seals. On re-assembly when fitting the white plastic bushes, I had to play about a bit in order to get both bushes on the correct splines in order for the dimples to line up so once the operating levers are put back on they line up with each other when in the off position. Its no use turning the whole tap body through 180 degrees because there is a small grub screw which will then be on view. This grub screw projects into a groove within the swivel spout in order to prevent it from popping out of the tap body during the swivelling process. In addition by just turning the body around all it will do is make it so the levers are pointing towards the wall in order for them to be in the off position.

Noice one!!
Great quality, easy to install however, i personally chose to swap the valves around so the tap looked better when switched off e.g up for off, down for on.. other than that. Would recommend.

The taps are okay but disappointed when fitted the levers on the photo are up when off but they are down when fitted if I had known this before I paid to have them fitted I would have returned them

This tap is a life changer.
This mixer tap has changed my life.No longer will I bash my forehead when I bend over the sink to wash my face.I swapped the valves over using the instructions provided by another buyer as it does seem weird having them the other way round.Looks good with smooth operation, I'm extremely happy with it.
