CokinP-Series Neutral Grey ND4 (0.6) Filter

wish it came with a simple soft pouch ( for the cost ) as these can damage easily. ND quality is good

Like the price, doesn't seem to shift color, wish the case came with a liner, the filter is very fragile, but take care of it and you should be fine. Drop it and it will scratch or break.

I'm returning the filter because it wasn't the one I ordered. I ordered the Cokin P-Series Grey ND4 filter for my P-sized filter holder, and what I got instead was an "A"-sized (smaller) filter. If it was the one I ordered, then no where in any part of this part's description does it indicate it is for the smaller sized filter system. The catalog needs to be explicit in which filter system a filter will fit.

Simply put, this is a good filter for the money. No issues, no color distortions. It does what its supposed to, perfectly! The cokin adapter and holder is awesome too. It can hold multiple square filters and one circular cokin filter. Remember... if you want to use a screw-on filter, then you can't put the cokin holder over that.

This is a perfect filter for reducing light, but keeping the right color balance, unlike other low-quality ND filters, that a subtle, but visible red cast into the image.

Does it's job perfectly. Must have for that smooth silky effect on water bodies. Cokin products have never disappointed me. But handle with care as it is prone to scratches.

I have used aftermarket ND filters that tinted the picture. For this reason I purchased the Cokin filter. I think I am going to love them.

By far my favorite. Love being able to slow my exposures down to get creative results.

The Cokin system is a very good value system if you are starting out with getting creative with your DSLR. I have a set of blue graduated filters and and natural graduated filters as well and the square ones like these. These work well in various situations and I have found them very good. Obviously the LEE SYSTEM is the one to own but it is a large investment so if you don't want the high cost then the Cokin P series is a very good cheaper alternative.

not much to say, so far looks good, doesn't appear to add a colour cast etc (although I wouldn't expect it to as this is a quality Cokin Filter), but I'll test it a bit more and report back if I do

Bought for my brother who is now a photography graduate with his own photography company. One of his best accessories!

I'm quite happy using Cokin filters, I know they are not Lee filters but they are not price matched either.
