The patterns are cute and seem simple for a new quilter!

What I learn most from instruction books is not only how to do something new, but how to create very unique designs that have a special meaning to me or the receiver of the quilt or handmade item. This book is full of ideas I can't wait to try as well as new techniques for making these ideas work with fabric and thread.

Really a wonderful little book. Lots of illustrations.

I bought this for my mom. She quilts quite a bit but loved the original patterns. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary this is it!

The ideas and designs are lovely, unfortunately I bought this book as a kindle ebook. I cannot print any part of this book and the patterns are not available as a linked download, therefore it is utterly useless apart from a pretty picture book.I certainly would recommend this book in hardback or through an ebook that allows you to print (they do exists). Just be aware that even with pattern and templates the work requires a lot of patience and good eye sight. Will return this book and buy a book instead . I will rate this as a 3, middle ground , only because the designs are fabulous.

I’m giving this 4 stars because the patterns are really cute, but, I was disappointed that it wasn’t paper piecing blocks, even though it looks like they are. There’s no way I would cut tiny little pieces out with templates for these blocks, I don’t have the time or the patience for it.Hopefully I can figure out how to make paper piecing patterns out of them.

Came on time. It came as described. Interesting book. Want to make all of them.

I bought this book to help me use up all the little bits of fabric that I have accumulated over the years. I JUST LOVE IT! The instructions are very detailed which makes them easy to follow. I have successfully enlarged the patterns to scale up the designs to make them the size I needed for a particular application. The designs are whimsical and original--a change from the 'standard' images I see elsewhere. This designer clearly has her own style! This book's method IS NOT foundational pattern piecing. In this book's method the fabric pieces are cut out and sewn together WITHOUT the paper being attached. I found Olesya's technique less bothersome--no bits of paper to dull your needle and then pull away from the finished block. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to make charming and versatile blocks. I have already used up a bunch of fabric remnants!!!!!!

This book has some useful information, however I was expecting more designs. Good information on Techniques.
