Jutaku: Japanese Houses Hardcover – Illustrated, October 12, 2015

Love this book! Super cool contemporary Japanese houses. Great pictures. You'll want too live in every one, or at lease visit them.

An angel must have made this book. I love it and use it as a reference often in my own architectural work here in the US. Seriously, it took a lot of work and heart to find and compile these houses. The houses are paired in interesting ways which I enjoyed as well. The only better thing would have been floor plans.

lots and lots of houses, nicely arranged geographically, but would have preferred fewer houses with some interior shots.

One more for my collection on Japanese design(s). Highly recommended, great illustrations, nice for inspiration!

I thought there would be more information on each house, but it's only one picture for each house.I do like how they are all organized per locations and site / building ratio is given.

Am working on designing a smaller house this year and was looking for some inspiration for fenestration, cladding, and roofing. This book did the trick. Appreciated that most of the houses were sized to fit on a city lot. Haven't seen many of the homes featured in this book.

Purchased as a gift for my granddaughter, as she is studying Japanese Architecture. She loves it.

Me gusto bastante por el numero de obras que posee, sobre todo porque marca las zonas de Japon donde se encuentra cada una.

Está muy bien, yo ya lo compré con la idea de que sólo me sirviera de inspiración.Sólo 1 foto por casa y exterior. No se ahonda en su configuración ni especificaciones técnicas.Si se adjuntara aunque fuera un plano en planta o una sección seria una pasada.

Wonderful book! I only wish it contained interior photos.

Really interesting and thoughtful display of homes.Information on each house is sparse and only aids in understanding the home as a space. For example, floor/site area, how many people that it can accommodate.
