Had this holding in a b&w stow in go hitch. Was rear-ended by a half ton truck. The pin held and didn't shear!Mark on pin so buying again to be sure.Broke the hitch ball off the hitch, ripped the front cross bar from the truck that hit me.I can't speak more highly of this product.Zero damage to my truck due to the pin holding the hitch!

As stated I liked everything but one thing about the item. The cap that covers the keyhole is flimsy, it will probably allow dirt to encrust the keyhole.

The best lock great buy even if the stores have it for the same price I will always buy everything on Amazon how great to click buy & look outside the door a few hrs latter or a day latter have your product

Tried 2 other barbell style locks, one from Curt and the other Masterlock. Both were short by about 2-4mm, and would not allow the lock to latch. This option with an extra 1” worked well. Construction and finish seem good, hoping it will last and lock will remain easy to operate.

Installed easily! That's where the positives end! After the first winter When turning the key, the lock jammed, the key turned, I had to cut it off and throw it out. The lock material is soft alloy, easy to cut. It took no more than 5 minutes to remove by the principle of hacking. Although in this I am glad that the material of the castle was not so hard that it would provide hard resistance for me.

This hitch pin wont last more than a year I figure.It has indents on it, we pull 6000 lbs, I will have to buy something else now.Fairly easy to use, lock and unlock, but not tough steel.

1 of 2 lock rusted and seized after just 2 weeks of use. Lock is very wobbly on the pin. Rubber O-ring doesn’t seal out water from entering the lock.

This so-called heavy duty trailer hitch lock is very very dangerous used once bent and almost snapped do not buy
