I was looking for an easily packable scarf for travel, and this is perfect—and gorgeous! I bought the "blue turquoise"; all the warp threads are navy, and the weft includes turquoise (duh), maroon, rose, royal purple, and ivory, plus gold and silver lurex. It's 95% viscose (aka rayon) plus a smidge of cotton and the lurex; it feels like cotton gauze. It's truly beautiful and drapes well, and includes all the versatility of infinity scarves: wear it as a collar, a "vest", high-low scarf, scarf-and-hood...I even figured out a way to use it as an arm sling, so if I sprain my arm while travelling, I'm all set! ;-)The only disadvantage is a very substantial french seam that you need to remember to hide...but it *has* to be substantial, since the fabric is so gauzy—otherwise in a couple months you'd just have a collection of unravelling threads. It's not that much trouble to conceal; you just have to keep it in mind, and check how it looks in back of you as well as in front. Clip out the tags as well...but remember that it needs a cool hand wash, no dryer, cool iron, and don't try to dry clean it.An excellent buy, and perfect for sparking up your travel wardrobe!

The colors are beautiful but it did not hold up at all. The picture is from the first time I wore it and it began unraveling. I’ve now worn it three times and many threads are unraveled. It looks terrible now to the point of not wearing it again. Would not purchase again.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase! I use it in a bit if a non-traditional way. I got TONS of compliments!!

Colors are great, softness was improved with hand-washing and softener. But this scarf was initially almost unwearable due to a funky jute-like smell. Tried to eliminate it by hanging it outside in the crisp, cold windy weather - didn't help. THEN hand-washed in Woolite, THEN air-dried and THEN put in the dryer for a few minutes of heat with several dryer sheets. The smell is not yet completely gone, but is better. When hand-washing, the dye colors of turquoise really leached out, but did not effect the scarf itself.

This scarf arrived just in time for a trip I was taking in early February (Mardi Gras in New Orleans!). The quality of the fabric is very good, and the scarf itself is gorgeous. It was still a little chilly and this was just what I needed, plus it dressed up all of my outfits that weekend. The gold threads are a little delicate and are slowly coming out of the weave, but the rest of the scarf is in great condition after a few weeks of use.

I never owned an infinity scarf before and now I wear this every day. It is just so pretty. I hand washed and hung to dry because of the threads of gold going through it. I was in a meeting when the AC came on very strong above me and I was able to pull this out of my coat pocket and wrap it around my shoulders. It is also very nice when it rains, I can cover my head. I will be purchasing more as Xmas gifts for my sisters. Looks really good with black outfits.

Totally love it. Not bulky, nice and lightweight but you don't need to worry about it blowing away cuz it's infinity. The colors are fabulous. It's comfortable and complements many outfits plus you can dress it up or down. It says to wash by hand, but I washed on delicate (in a mesh bag) with other delicate items and threw it over a door to dry, and it came out just fine. I probably won't do that again, and now I've rendered it non-returnable anyway, but I did because it reeked of cheap perfume when I received it. So, that's the only downside, and the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

I really like this scarf! I have something similar in black that has become my go to scarf and I hoped this would be similar. I like this new one better, and it was cheaper! I bought this in blue and it lets me wear jeans and plain tops and bring in subtle flashes of color and contrast... plus have a warm neck :) I like infinity scarves the best because there's no adjusting or falling off during the day. I've received loads of compliments on this item and plan on buying additional colors! A great item.
