Purchased these lights for decoration and to cover miter joints on our deck railing that opened up. Easy to install, looks good, easy to adjust, and light stays on all night long. A winner and hopefully they last.

Having tried other solar lights for my porch deck posts, they usually were poorly made or assembled poorly, they had poor lighting, or had very poor solar capabilities. I decided to give Siedlinlar's lights a shot and I was unexpectedly surprised.To start off, they were packaged very neatly. It came with 3 different base mounts, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6. I needed the 4x4. It also came with the screws and instructions which were easy to read and install. Installation was a breeze, very beginner friendly. Once you install the mount you just get the light and lock the top with it.The lights themselves seem of quality material, it doesn't feel cheap at all and the solar capabilities have so far worked well. I've had these through heavy rain storms, cloudy and extremely hot weather (95+F) and they have held up very well. The plastic doesn't feel brittle at all, it hasn't broken or splintered or cracked like a few other brands i've had to purchase. The lighting itself is very decent, it's enough to light up the area around the post lightly, as in not too bright but not too dark. Personally, it fit for what I was looking for. I've used the warm lighting rather than the cool lighting because warm seems to stand out more. The solar charge lasts until the early morning on a sunny day, a little before on a cloudy day. I would honestly recommend this to anyone looking into a nice quality and fairly priced solar post lights.I'd like to add that I contacted customer service and they answer all questions without hassle and quick.Very courteous and helpful team they have at Siedlinlar. These solar lights are wonderful. They are easy to assemble, they are low profile and, great lighting(picture shows the lights on warm) . They have 2 settings cool white and warm white. We used clear vinyl silicone to keep them on our posts only because they fit right on top of our posts. Our trex vinyl posts are 4.5". With the multiple adapters that come with each light, it allows these lights to fit multiple posts. We used the 5" on our 4.5" posts. It overhangs by .5" but it looks like it's meant to. They look just like the plain caps I originally had on my posts only with light. I purchased the black ones. They are decent quality plastic and the clear plastic has a diffused look to filter the light perfectly. They do have a charging battery inside each light that you can change. Daylight right now is shorter so the lights start on until around 10-11pm. I've only had them for a week but so far I love them. When you want to change the battery or the light setting, you don't have to take the whole light off as it twists off and the base remains on the post. Ease of use. I recommend this product. 4 stars only cause I haven't had them very long.

I ordered 4 of these post cap lights, installed them the day they were delivered, and like them very much. They look very nice and light up just as it's getting dark. I appreciate that they have replaceable rechargeable batteries which should extend their lifetime. After about 2 weeks, one of the lights stopped working. I emailed the companies customer service asking if they could replace the faulty one. I was surprised to receive an almost immediate response advising me to send a copy of the order which I did. By the end of the day, they advised me that they would ship me a new light and I received it in about 3 days. That is astonishingly good response these days. They have a good product and unusually good customer service.

Easy to install, not as bright as expected lasts all night with the battery charged.I got the black color ones because I read other reviews that the white discolored. The quality seems nice enough

The soft light setting looks great at night and lasts most of the night.

these look great, are easy to install... very weatherproof... the light is really bright......but.as the summer has faded and there is less and less daylight... so too there is less and less light from these fixtures. to make a long story short.... when they got a full summers day of light... mostly direct light... they stayed illuminated all night long. once the sun started coming up later and going down later the length of time the lights stay on has decreased similarly. so now instead of staying on all night and going off when the sun comes up... they shut down around 1:00 a.m. if they had a bigger solar battery the could make it through the night. but i guess you get what you pay for...anyhoo... where i live it rains and is super foggy all winter so i was planning on turning them off for the winter and using my flood lights until next spring anyway... so i wouldn't qualify these as viable year round... but from late spring until september they work perfect! and even off they look better than just plain fence posts so there you go.

Love these solar light caps for my deck rails!! After my deck was installed I instantly realized it was a mistake not to incorporate lighting, so I needed something solar powered and easy to install. These are perfect! My posts are 4”, so the 4” base fit perfectly. There were also 5” and 6” bases included if you need those. I love that it has two color choices… I went with soft white to match my other lighting. The pics make it look really bright, but it’s not… it gives off the perfect amount of light and ambiance. I haven’t screwed them into the post yet so for not they are just resting on the posts. I’m not worried about them blowing away or getting knocked over bc they fit pretty snug as is. Super easy set up and install. They’re a great value and instantly did exactly what I needed. I also have 6 more down the long set of stairs to the pool area but didn’t get a pic of that. I only used them on the stair rail posts… I didn’t want a dozen lights across the top of the deck and I think it looks perfect as is. Hope this helps!

Bought these for my 6" post on my porch. They were easy to install and light up the night with either cool or warm setting. Easy to assemble with included instructions. Simply love how it improves the look of my front porch instead of plain white caps. Hope they have a long life!

These are great and fairly easy to install. The issue is that they are made for a 4 x 4 post, when in fact, we all get ripped off with 3.5 by 3.5 inch posts. It's not noticeable from a distance, but it allows insects to get in and nest. I like the light and it seems to charge well with indirect light in the summer.

Update: I've reached out to Customer Service via email and not even 15 minutes later I had a reply. They shipped me a replacement light and it arrived the next day. Excellent service.I bought 2 sets so I have 12. They look great but one has never worked. I don't know of its a general quality issue or if I just got one lemon. I can't return the set, they are already mounted and fixed to the posts. Trying to reach the company for the 1 year warranty but I can't seem to find the information on that either.Dissapointing....

Easy to use and they survived -40 winter and still worked!
