Tippmann Gryphon Basic, Silver

Ok, so lets get started on this gun. Its an ok beginner gun. It has a few issues but nothing that cant be fixed. First off, The trigger is extremely stiff so you wont be getting more than 3-5 balls per second, also because this is a semi automatic, it will fire slower due to the lack of a solenoid. Also no, you cannot upgrade the gryphon internal wise. The gryphon is a real pain to take apart, due to its "sleek new design" you need to take off the entire grip frame, and the entire body just to maintnence your marker. The other issue is there are no eyes so expect lots of breaks. The barrel should be replaced immedietly. It is an 8 inch .693 bore. It is absoloutly terrible. The bore is huge so the balls slide out, and the accuracy is extremely bad due to it being only 8 inches. The ball detents are very cheap and do not work. This gun is basically a Tippman 98 with a different shell. Overall though, its a Tippmann, so it will last for an extremely long time, and its a good gun if your just starting out paintball. If you want to get a little more of an edge and have a bigger budget, look for electroneumatic paintball guns, if you have a small budget and are just starting out, this gun is for you.

I bought this for my little sister, so she would have her own marker to use when our family goes to play our yearly woods ball game. First off, it's just a lighter weight 98 custom. The internals are the exact same when you compare them, which was my main reason for purchasing this marker. If a rental 98 custom could withstand years of abuse, I was sure this thing would be able to do it as well. I haven't been proven wrong so far, plus she likes it because it has a brighter color other than black.

Did not come with a hopper didn’t even come in a box

I liked the gun but I thought it would be a bit "beefer" than it is. It seems to have Tipmann quality and it fires well and fast. The only other thing is it's made in China and I'm use to the tipmann 98 which is made in the USA.

It was my first starter gun and it was great. I had no muzzle breaks. Besides the low power and the bad accuracy it's a great gun for new players

just purchased this marker. played all day with it. it functioned flawlessly. no chopped paint no misfires. would highly recommend for first gun. i have tippmann, spyder, & gog markers & it worked just as well as any of them.

This was a Christmas present.

This might be an amazing product, but the one we received has trigger problems. It was a gift, I am past myself 30 day return window, and can't return????
