Otakumod 14" King Medieval Dagger. Historical Short Sword with Scabbard. for Collection, Gift, Cosplay at Renaissance Fair

I bought this for a renaissance faire costume and it will fit right in. It is lightweight, feels sturdy and I could find no defects in the blade itself. The handle is a bit small for my hand, but like I said its for a costume and not actual use. The scabbard is of good quality and I can find no defects in its manufacture. I would have liked some form of knob or protuberance on the scabbard so that I could anchor it in a dagger frog to keep it secure.

Needed this for a one time photo shoot to replicate the suicidal king in a deck of cards. I was surprised on the quality and realness of the dagger. I guess I was expecting something that reflected the cheap price. It is definitely worth the price paid. If you are looking for an excellent quality dull dagger, buy this one.

I purchased this for my 16 year old daughter and she LOVES IT!! Such a perfect size for her and she displays it in her room with her other knives she's collecting. My only concern or would be 5 stars is that it was shipped in the flimsy box that it should be gifted and displayed in, so when it arrive to our Maui home it was taped together by the postal service and smashed so she wasn't able to use the box as a display and it would have been easy for someone to steal. They should ship it better. Otherwise great weight and sturdiness on the dagger.

I was so excited at the quality of this dagger. To be honest I wasn't expecting much because of the price, but it is way better than I expected. This will work great for any Renaissance Festival or Cosplay!

This dagger has a very flimsy feeling guard, pommel and handle, and the handle is also quite small, barely fits in my hand. And the blade is stainless steel so is not suitable for heavy tasks, like sparring, actual combat and cutting anything tough. And the blade is not properly sharpened, so you will need to sharpen it alot to make it usable. I do have to give it props for looking cool and having a nice medium weight to it.

They seem to really like it. It arrived fairly quickly and seemed sturdy.

Read a few reviews and description saying it was all metal and no plastic like you see in most of these online. Trusted the reviews, but when it got here, low and behold, plastic handle / guard / pummel that is already loose and practically falling apart straight out of the package.

Great for show. All metal, no plastic. Makes a great gift for people that are into such things.
