Giftgarden Black 18x24 Frame Matted to Display 16x20 Picture with Mat or 18 x 24 Poster without Mat, Set of 4

I’ll start by saying that the frames come packaged nicely and have a decent enough appearance. One of the first things I noticed was that the “glass” was not protected by any film (like the other brands that I purchase on Amazon). I put my first picture in and sealed everything up. I then noticed a small mark on the front of the glass (plastic I believe). I went to gently wipe it off and it made it worse. It literally left my pic with an abrasion mark that you could clearly see. I next inserted the second pic and sealed it. Only to notice this one had an abrasion on it as well...that wouldn’t wipe off. I finally placed my third picture and saw a small scratch on the cover. Everything looks pretty nice, but all of my frames have a small scratch/abrasion somewhere on the surface of the glass. Luckily, they aren’t super visible without looking for them, but they are definitely there. I handled everything very carefully and I loaded the frames on a soft/clean blanket so that there wouldn’t be any sharp objects or rough surfaces. Still, a scratch on every piece. All in all, I’m not loving this purchase. The frames are functional and look fine. But they will scratch IMMEDIATELY if anything touches the glass. Buyer beware. I can’t honestly say that I would recommend this product simply because of the quality of the glass/plastic.

These frames look great and hang securely! We are in the process of redecorating the basement and these are perfect. It has a movie and music theme so we have many types of memorabilia that we are in the process of collecting and framing. I have bought many frames over the years for this kind of thing, as we have lots of this stuff, and these are great quality. They come matted so you have the option for two sizes, and this is the reason I picked them as I have a mix of posters in these two sizes. The back has swinging metal closures and a secure hanger that is attached to the back enclosure. Our existing pictures are black frames also, some are slightly different, but they blend together well with the others.

The frames were exactly what I was hoping for! They’re sturdy and the plexiglass is very clear like real glass. They’re perfect!

After some of the reviews for this product, I wasn't sure if I would like these frames. But I really do. They look great, are a quality textured black matte plastic, and are well made. I believe the manufacturer has solved any problems people had with stability by using 3 L-shaped anchors in each corner of the frame to thoroughly stabilize it. The plexiglass front is high quality, very clear, looks like glass, and came with a protective film on both sides. Each frame was wrapped in plastic, and all 4 of them were protected by layers of foam lining the insides of the box. Some reviewers thought this was overkill, but I don't, since the single biggest problem buyers seem to have when ordering frames online is damage to one or more during shipment. I didn't have that problem, all 4 frames were in perfect shape even though one of the outside corners of the box obviously took a hard hit during transit. Enough to cave in the corner of the box a bit. But the protection around the frames was so well thought out, they made it through just fine. I would certainly recommend these frames to anyone in the market for a well-priced good quality frame for their posters. They look like far more expensive frames than they are, and make my poster really pop.

The good: These frames look ok for what they cost. However, there are some fairly serious issues. First of all, two of the four are quite warped on the back panel. This makes the pictures sit incredibly weird. Secondly, and worst, is the absolutely putrid smell. I unwrapped them and the smell is absolutely indescribable. Unknown to me, they were moved into another room. I kept smelling something horrid, and searched for a rotten piece of food that may have been hiding in the back of a cupboard, or in the fridge, or trash. It wasn’t rotten food, it was these frames. The entire kitchen stunk. I’m not even sure if these will be useable due to the smell. It’s so strong and so vile. I’m going to keep them outside to see if it dissipates. I cannot possibly fathom what is making them so ungodly disgusting smelling. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend these frames.

These picture frames look nice, however, they are cheaply made. The frames are plastic and the glass seems to be an acrylic type of material. I also noticed that the backs do not go on tightly enough to hold the photo in place, therefore you must tape your photo to the mat. This is most likely due to the cheap hardware used to fasten it. I recently purchased the amazon basics picture frames as well and they are far superior to these and well worth the extra money in my opinion.

I liked that they work good for my application. One of the four frames I received arrived damaged as shown in the picture. It could probably still be used if you have an application where that one edge won't be seen. I cannot tell for sure if it was a quality control issue or if it was damaged during shipping, the cardboard box had some apparent damage too. They aren't very sturdy, however, if you forget and try to pick it up from the top edge it ends up flexing and a few of the metal holders pop out. Overall I'm pleased with them for the price, but next time will look for something more sturdy and will expect no damage which I probably should have complained about.

I used these to frame movie posters for a home theatre. I should have read the reviews. The frames were so flimsy they make MDF look good. Every single frame cracked next to the staples holding the corners together. Not on the staples but next to them. The staples were the solidest part. I was able to salvage them with black duct tape. The 'glass' is actually plexiglass, which is ok considering the cost. But the 'wood' frames are the issue. I am not sure what they are made of but they crumble unless you are extremely careful.

I found that these were not the best quality. Shipped very well and packaged very securely, however, because they are not glass there was really no need for such good packaging. Would not buy again. They are not worth the price.

No where does it say that the ‘glass’ isn’t glass but is plastic. Very disappointing was offered a paltry 10$ discount. Avoid this seller

I have a printer that will print 13*19 pictures and am always looking for frames for that size. I got these because they were big enough and economical. I managed to enlarge the matting from 11*17 to 13*19, but it is difficult and the results were less than perfect. They are good value for the money, but a 13*19 matting choice would be great.

All 4 frames arrived with broken corners. These are very poorly made with cracking fragile plastic.
