Great idea, cool ingredients, small portions...
I got this for my grandchildren and I think I can tell you exactly how they will respond to it....It's a cool concept with a number of fun ingredients. There is sand colorant and regular sand, scented putty and unscented putty, scented slime and unscented slime, beads, glitter, confetti and other decorations. You mix and match slime with other ingredients, always including sand, and you obtain a cool, colored and scented pouch of sand. It's like cooking, only not for taste, but for eyes, nose and the sense of touch. Whenever you achieve a product that appeals to three separate senses, you have something that is at least somewhat attractive, and this is an appealing, attractive toy.But if you look at the pictures I include you will see the Achilles heel of this little toy: the packets and portions are meagre. They're not miniscule, but they are slim. And that means the fun will only last so long, because once you've made a batch of slime, that's it. It's like Play Doh: once it's all been mixed together the party's over. But the price is also slim. So I commend this little set of slime to you. One or two kids, half-an-hour devoted to it, and you'll have a great time. Maybe even an hour with two children. But the more children, the less the time because it's a one-trick pony and you can't reuse the elements.

A lot of fun, but kind of a one use set!
I got these set for my daughter to use. She is 16 and autistic, and enjoys mixing up textures like this. She had a lot of fun playing around with this, putting crystals or what she called "sprinkles" in the slime and sand. It's cool what a variety of different feels the substances had---something she as a sensory seeker really liked. However, the amounts of each substance were quite small, and there was no storage. Once things were mixed up, they were pretty much used up. Everything was messy and sticky, which was fine---that's part of the experience---but it felt like a lot of packaging and cost for something that was used up quickly. We played with this outdoors for about 20 minutes, and by that time, everything had been combined together into one ball which wasn't too use-able or pretty! We threw it out. Your results of course might vary if you have a child that will play with this with more restraint, but do keep in mind the size of each compound and add in is quite small, and once opened, there isn't a way to store anything!

Just the thing to make the day exciting
There's an awful lot of work and school from home right now, and the boredom has definitely set in. I look for ways to bring fun home for the kids, and this was a hit. The box contents are much smaller than the box, there's a lot of packaging. We pulled out the packets and the sprinkles (that's what they called them) and got started. We pulled the blue goop out first and the kids went nuts as it's quite a sensory experience. They wouldn't add the stars until they'd had fun playing with it. It was about the size that is perfect for kids' hands, just big enough that it's a challenge to keep all together and not ooze out.We found out right away that you should keep the packets or the box nearby so you could rest the slime on it, otherwise it will get little bits in it or it will moisten and stick to paper. Typical slime! We did all the packets and the foam was the one that was the more unusual. I would say that we had enough foam in our goop with half the packet, so they give you plenty. This was a ton of fun and the kids loved it. We got out zip loc bags to store it and then they were still playing with it in the zip loc bags. Great set!

My Son's Happy
My son (age 8) loves the different slime, foam, and sand toys in this box set! He mixed all the texture additives in all by himself and had a great time playing with everything. Some of the different slimes even smell good, like kids' shampoo. He says they're "medium stickiness," in that he's had slime that stuck to his hands more, but also ones that stuck less. The stickiness didn't bother him at all or stop him from playing with them, though. The only complaint I have about this pack is that there aren't any storage containers. As shown in my photos, when you're done, you have to put each slime back in the plastic baggies they came in, and that's kind of unfortunate. I'm waiting for the bags to rip or accidentally get thrown out or something. I think I'm going to end up going to get some dollar store Tupperware or something to keep this slime in instead.

Good sensory activity, be ready to clean up
The media could not be loaded. This was a fun activity. Everything comes in little packets. The slime packets are resealable but I’m not sure how you get it all back in there. We used Tupperware to mix it in with the idea that we could store it there too. They mix together well, maybe too well. My daughter decided to mix all five together, they do not unmix. Two of the slimes are the wet mucousy kind and two are more solid. We liked the solid ones better because they held their shape a little longer and melted. The sand is also fun but turned out to the messiest one since it does not hold itself together like the others. It got everywhere. Would be a good activity for a teacher or a family with multiple kids.

Perfect for a rainy day activity.
There is soooooo much extra unnecessary packaging on these it's insane. All of the actual product could fit in a quart ziploc bag (if even that big). I am sorry I forgot to take a picture. That said, my daughter loved the slime. She has made all but the sand (because she knows that will be extra messy and will require my help) and has a blast mixing in the addons and then playing with them day after day. I gave her some cheap plastic containers to keep each batch in so they stay nice. The only addin I hated was the little foam balls because they get all over everywhere because of static electricity. So be prepared.
