Seems like a great quality product. Has a good feel in the hand. Controls are very easy to work. Followed provided directions and filled with fuel in just a few seconds. Lit right away and flame adjusted accurately. This is my first torch lighter so nothing to compare it to except one of those disposable lighters. There really isn’t much of fair comparison. Overall I think it works great and should last a long time.

Awesome torch, top notch quality and built to last! Easy to use, for the hand perfect. Even heat output, ignites every time!

Great flame adjustability. Quality piece. Can light it in cold weather and works every time. Easy to refill but it won't let you fill it up it only gets about 10 minutes of run time. Size is perfect in your hand and it does feel heavy duty.

Great torch works very well. Very solid works well around the kitchen.

I love this gadget. We use it to light charcoal for incense at church in seconds. Self lighting charcoal will not blow this flame out. I would not recommended this for kids to use. The safety cap is good but not as safe as other lighters. The flame is easily adjustable and very hot. Refills quickly.

Nowhere does it say if it ships initially pre-filled with butane in the tank. I thought I saw it didn't include butane and maybe they meant no refill bottle? When we tried to fill ours with the refill bottle we bought at Lowes, it wouldn't form a tight seal and the butane sprayed back at me and that's why I *think* it came pre-filled but no refill tank. I didn't try to depress the fill nozzle out of the box to see if the tank was filled or empty first. I guess we will find out how long it burns with the way it is out of the box. I'm guessing it's safe to ship with the tank filled since the flame adjustment nozzle was covered secure and the unit was packed well in the box.

So I used this for a few days now and it's amazing. Longer than the 8 minutes it listed which is cool. Perfect size for comfort and definitely handles well. Easy to use, high power, lighting is low. However you have to turn a valve to let gas out instead of a trigger to control the gas. You light it and it's on until you have to close it. It is a safety issue if you have to set it down and forget the gas is running and the flame is going. I think this needs a re design to be able to act like a normal torch that uses a trigger than a dial. Triggers help when you let go the gas stops.

Loses gas so quickly and you have to put it to max for it to work.

The bottom fill port is also what makes the connection to the top, if not super snug it WILL leak. Other than that, this is great 8/10 build quality
