If you’re a Buckeyes fan or know one this is the perfect throw and go backsack (yes, a backsack is different than a backpack). It’ll hold just about everything you need for game day or just bumming around town. It appears to be well made with the bottom having reinforced corners, which is a nice touch. However, on the product I received, one of the metal grommets was bent over. While this was easily fixed and could have happened during shipping, it makes me wonder if it bends that easily how long will it actually last in real world use? With durable construction and clean graphics this really is a nice bag.However, in my brief time with this bag I did notice a few things I feel are important to mention.The top section of the bag is mesh so it is definitely NOT waterproof and probably not very water resistant. I can confirm from personal experience that if you get caught in the rain, you and the contents of this bag are going to get wet. If it’s going to rain, you do not want your phone in this bag. Trust me. My guess is that the mesh is to make the bag “gym clothes friendly”.The shoulder cord and closing drawstring are the same cord, so you can’t adjust one without adjusting the other. Kind of a weird setup.Speaking of the shoulder straps, they are tied at the bottom so the only way to adjust them is to untie and retie them. That’s fine if you’re good with knots, but bad if you’re not (see what I did there). This also means that if it comes unties while you’re wearing it, gravity is going to give you a very unpleasant surprise. Normally, I wouldn’t consider this to be a big deal, but just to test it out I decided to wear this backsack while out for a bike ride. Due to the awkward drawstring closure and having it held on by a knot, I found myself obsessed with checking it at each and every traffic light. It was annoying enough that I ended up cutting my ride short. However, I didn’t experience the same concern while just walking around or hanging out.All that being said, I still like this bag and would recommend it for casual use (beach, picnic, game day or tailgating) and showing your team spirit, but I definitely wouldn’t make this my go to bag. Bought this bag for my husband's birthday to use for a gym bag because he is a die hard Michigan fan. He loved the look of it and was very excited. He used it less than two weeks only to carey his wallet, headphones, keys, and small waterbottle in and out of the gym. To his dissapointment the bags drawstring eyelit hole at the bottom of the bag came out of material and dislodged the drawstring.
