Can this be machine washed once made into a blanket?

Yes! I make the blanket, put the blanket in the washer on cold with a small amount of soap and wash on normal by itself for the first time and it also dry's nicely in the dryer, after the first initial wash, wash it with other blankets on cold

9.8 yards… my measuring 14 loops=12 inch… that probably varies 2-4 loops
