This is by far the most I have spent for a rod but I do really like it a lot. I have a couple of St. Croix Mojo bass rods and this rod is a step above those, maybe not as much as it was going from Ugly Stiks to the Mojos, but this rod is very, very sensitive. Casts great with the Revo Rocket that I mounted on it. I was worried it would be too stiff for worms with a 1/8 ounce weedless head on them, but it was casting them fine. Next one I get will probably be the DX 744c for lighter worms and things, but I am very pleased with this rod!

Best jig rod on the market. I know own 12 dobyns rods the only rods to own. Pair them with a daiwa reel and your set for life. Fish to win!!!!

I’ve a life time of buying rods / I’ve more expensive then this ( not trying to sound vain ) but this rod 7’4 mag heavy is by far the best jig rod I’ve ever owned - it beats out more expensive jig rods I own - this rod is amazing for jigs

This is a very sensitive rod! I mainly use it for dragging 3/4 oz football jigs. It also works great for flipping or casting Texas rigged soft plastics. I have a couple of them. One is the split grip and one is the full cork. I prefer the feel of the full cork.

Absolute favorite rod that I own. Love flipping jigs & beavers with this rod up to about 3/4oz. Also does great with Football jigs and Carolina Rigs, also nice for small swimbaits
