This Thermo works great and easy to use. It would be 5 stars but the value isn't as good as I'd like it.

I cook a lot and quite often if I am frying something in one of my deep fryers, I need to know the temperature of the oil quickly. This gun is not only accurate, but it's also quick.I point the gun at the oil, hold the trigger for a second and the temperature appears digitally on the screen.I have it set for Fahrenheit, but I believe it also has a Celsius option.When purchasing a fryer, a temperature stim usually comes with it. The stim can be somewhat accurate but it has to be submerged into the oil, and it takes up to 10 seconds to get a good reading. This temperature gun is quick and accurate.It works so well that I bought my dad one.I encourage you to buy one too...

The thermometer responds quickly and well within the temperature range I expected. I has a red dot laser pointer that helps to ensure you're pointing the thermometer where you want to measure the temperature. It is inexpensive and does what you need.

Nice to have for cooking and surface temperature reading at a reasonable cost.

This is ten dollars less than the cheapest one from the local big box and has more functionality and customization while being more accurate as well. The emissivity selection is a particularly useful touch.

I originally purchased this to test the difference when adding acrylic storm windows to my older double pane glass windows and replacing the seals around my doors.When I had a mini split heat pump installed this summer, I also used it to test how well the units were cooling. This winter, it will be used to see how well they are heating.It's easy to use and great for measuring differences. I'm not sure about the accuracy, but for me, it was more important to find the temperature differences and it was far less expensive than a thermal imaging camera. It's a great home improvement tool.It's also good for checking out the temperature of fridges, freezers, coolers, ovens and BBQ's.

Lo compré durante la pandemía y hasta el día de hoy casi 3 años después no se le ha acabado la bateria, es super duradera.Aunque comparé las mediciones de temperatura con otros termometros y tiene un margen de error del 0.7% no es la gran cosa, pero pues ahí está para que sepan, lo recomiendo.

Works like a charm. Sturdy and tough. I use it for a commercial scale equipment temperature measurements where temperatures reach 200 Celsius. Takes between 3-5 to get stable. However the equipment and hot surface distance to be not more than 5 feet. Works for me
