VESSEL MEGADORA Screwdriver 6PC. Set (Paper Box)

I think I love these screwdrivers. The handles are firm but still provide good grip and grease and dirt wipe off easily. The shafts are strong, the tips don’t seem to bend, round off or chip despite some abuse I’ve offered. They look good and they really do fit JIS screw heads noticeably better than a standard Phillips or slotted screwdriver. It’s worth noting that these do not fit Phillips or SAE slotted screws correctly, though. If you need a set of JIS screwdrivers for your Japanese motorcycle or car, I definitely recommend Vessel. I now have five sets of various types for various purposes in my shop, all Vessel brand, and have never yet been disappointed.

For 55 years I have struggled with Asian cross tip screws. No, US Philips screwdrivers do not fit. The result was endless stripped out screws, and automatically replacing all of the screws with Allen head bolts. Enter the Amazon age, and JIS screwdrivers are readily available. If you do anything with Asian screws, real JIS screwdrivers will make your life better. I was putting together a metal cabinet from China, and Philips screwdrivers did not fit well at all. JIS fits perfect. Vessel has been around forever, and I have some of their tools that are 40 years old. Megadora is Vessel's hi end line, and these screwdrivers are worth the money.

A must for any person working on Japanese cars. I bought this for an Acura TSX Idle Air Control Valve screws but I ended using it elsewhere. Will come in handy. Good quality. Dont strip out the screws using a standard Philips.

I finally jumped on the hype and checked out the Vessel Megadora, and I'm impressed. Handles feel comfortable and natural in the hand, and have some dimples added on 3 sides to assist in grip. The shafts have knurling on them so you have some grip up there too, if you're trying to spin something quickly or your way of holding them includes a finger on the shaft. The Phillips drivers have what they call JawsFit, which is a pattern machined on the edges that's supposed to assist in grabbing screws. Very nice product. If you're wanting hex bolsters, I believe the tang-through versions (red handles) have that, but I chose to go without.

I splurged and bought this set because I like them so much. The Harbor Freight 'FREE' screwdriver sets that I have been using are mediocre at best and the phillips ends wear out and mess up screw heads. I started out with a single silver handled Vessel Impacta phillips and then bought a regular blue handled phillips. These are now my go to screwdrivers because they flat out work and grip the screw heads and because of that I wanted a complete set of more of them.

I really like how these feel in my hand and they grip the fastener well. The knurled shaft is a nice addition to zip the rest of the screw out quickly. No I haven't hammered on them yet, that's what old screwdrivers are for.

Prima set, zitten lekker in de hand, afwerking is wat gladder, maar dat vind ik juist fijn. Grotere maten zijn ook echt vrij lang, Kopjes grippen goed hard op schroeven, zou ze zo nog weer kopen.

This brand has never let me down before, and by adding this set of screwdrivers to my tools, it hasn't let me down now. Absolutely worth every cent!

These are the best screwdrivers I have ever used. I sold my snap on for pennies on the dollar after I got these. They will remove a screw so stripped you’d think you’d have to weld a nut to extract it. A screw head will break off before these cam out. I recommend these to anybody who uses Japanese fasteners in automotive or motorcycle repair. Honda, Yamaha, Toyota, Suzuki, Kehin and much more.
