Plug-n-Play & Sits on Thin Bezel Monitor
The web cam installs itself, simply plug into an available USB port and under Windows 10 it is recognized, drivers installed, appears under device manager, etc. I cannot comment on whether or not the camera is truly 1080p, but it seems to be as clear as my laptop internal camera and certainly offers a wider field-of-view. I bought this web cam to sit on top of my dual monitor docking station. As you can see in the office photo, my laptop sits at an angle to where I sit and conferences generally see only the side of my face as I stare ahead at the larger dual monitors. The web cam sitting on top of the monitor lets the audience see me more directly. I suppose the reason I'm not giving the unit 5 stars is that I did manage to get it to fit on top of my thin bezel Dell monitor, but it took some tinkering. I used a Command strip at the base of the web cam and then a strip of duct tap down the back. In a home office environment I don't mind, but it would not look the best in a more professional law or dental office, etc.

Nice cam, but 1 out of 3 failed
Update: I bought three of these. One for myself, and one for each of my kids for remote learning. My daughter's cam broke after about two months of use. It just shows black. I tried it in my computer, and the same thing happens. I gave her my cam, and I went and got a 720p Logitech cam for the same price. I think this cam is better than the Logitech, but I think it's a bummer that one out of three of ours failed so quickly. So I'm taking two stars off now.The webcam was very easy to install--no drivers or software was needed. I've used it only with a headset, so I can't comment on the microphone. The LED is super bright. Fortunately, there was a piece of green tinted tape that came with it which I used to cover the LED. I can still see if the camera is on, but the light is subdued now.The ring around the lens turns for focus. I got a much sharper picture after I focused it.I think the image quality could be better, but for this price it is fine.I ordered two more of these, and the green tape wasn't needed. I guess the first one was missing a piece of smoked plastic over the LED. Anyway, the green tape works for attenuating the bright LED if you have the same problem I did with the first one I ordered. I think it's a good idea to not to throw away the green tape until you check the brightness of the LED.

Mixed Review
UPDATE: Started working again but the picture is going very dark. It starts out fine but as the meeting goes on it kinda gets tired or something and it goes dark. I had to buy a selfie light to rectify this . /// I initially had trouble using this camera with Microsoft Teams. No issues with zoom or WebEx at all. Tried Amazon's support and the girl I got one nothing about setting up webcams. I am not sure but sounded like overseas support which is disappointing from Amazon... After some trouble shooting I've found you have to go into the control panel and disable the inboard camera in order for my HP laptop to accept that this is the camera to use. All in all, for the price this has been a good purchase, the picture is very clear, the microphone works well, pleased with my purchase. Just a bit quirky setting it up.

Just what I needed
This webcam was exactly what I needed. It couldn't be easier to use - just plug it in and open your webcam app or software. I was surprised by the picture quality too, as it's much better than the resolution that I get on my new, higher-end business laptop. The camera has a bright red light on the front which illuminates when in use. This could create a reflection off of your glasses if you wear them, but the light can easily be obscured by a small piece of electrical tape if necessary.About the only gripe I have (and it's minor) is that it doesn't fit very well on top of my monitor, which is slightly curved on the back. Fortunately, there is a threaded hole already on included mount for quickly attaching it to a tripod or arm - a purchase which I intend to make soon.

Acceptable Quality Product
I purchased this cam to be able to video chat with my parents when my grandson is around. The simple plug n play aspect makes installing a breeze. The only flaw that i have ran into so far is that the cumbersome cord makes it a little difficult to utilize the built-in clip for hanging on the monitor. After a bit of maneuvering I finally got it straight enough. My suggestion would be for the design to be rethought out, placing the cord on the top-rear of the camera and not on the side (it makes the camera heavy on that side and makes it lean). All-in-all it is a good camera that gets the job done for what i need it for, which is basic usage.

Great Camera at a Great Price
I have been in the market for a webcam for a while. With the need to do Zoom calls, my Mother living across the country, and the desire to start making YouTube videos/start streaming, I needed to add one to my desktop. In the end, I’m very happy with this camera. It was an easy plug and play setup, and worked from the start. The video it produces is clear and crisp, and the mic works fine and picks up sounds and speaking very well. If you have a monitor setup like mine (see pictures) the cord might be too short to reach your tower on the floor, though because I have an external USB HUB on my desk the slightly short cord isn’t an issue for me. I also would have placed the cord itself higher up the camera itself, because until the cord settles into place the camera isn’t level when hanging on a flatscreen monitor. I have no regrets about this purchase, and I am glad that I opted for this camera.

good for the price, but not especially study
Weve had out for about nine months. Bought it for online distance learning. The camera is really good for the price and we haven't had many issues. About six or seven times. the camera just refused to work and could not pick up sound or video, and I couldn't ever figure out why. It just seemingly fixes itself later, usually 30 mins to an hour. If you tap the side of the camera or it get knocked around, sometimes it will cut out. Obviously, most electronics will stop working with abuse, but if you have a rambunctious young one, like me, maybe just be careful around it.
