The squirrels are angry!
If you share your world with a herd of “squirrelly” squirrels then this is the feeder for your beautiful birds. The squirrels can’t get to the seeds and it saves a ton of money since the squirrels can’t graze and throw extra seeds on the ground. I have recommended this to my friends! LOVE it!

Starlings NO, Cardinals YES!
This bird feeder is great! It has a large capacity and cardinals can still use it. I had a major grackle/black bird/starling problem and this feeder has taken care of it. With my old feeder the black birds would arrive in large flocks, eat ALL of my seed and keep all other birds away from the feeder. I'd fill up at 8am and all the seed would be gone by noon. With this feeder they have to work harder to get the seed and their bodies are so big it makes it difficult. The grackles/black birds/starlings can still get on the feeder, but only one at a time. They are no longer controlling the air space and feeders in my back yard. The smaller birds are loving this feeder and it holds enough seed for at least three to four days before I have to refill.

Slow squirrels down. Does not stop them from figuring out how to get the seed.
It’s a fancy design and it does a pretty good job of confusing the squirrels and slowing them down a little. However, if you’re like me and you have incredibly smart squirrels, which most of them are, they will figure out that all they have to do is jump up and down on it to shake the birdseed out onto the ground.Like I said, it will slow them down, but that’s all save your money

Laugh at the squirrels attempts!! 😂
See a lot of reviews on this that aren’t so favorable however, I went through five different birdfeeders and then found this one and it’s a very good birdfeeder. The only flaw is the feeder ports deteriorate to nothing in about eight or nine months and then you start spilling birdseed out of the ports when you refill it and the bird start pecking at it. You can see it falling to the ground. The ports are $11 to buy four new ones to replace so overall that’s not too bad every eight months to a year spending $11 to replace those ports, I laughed, watching the squirrels try to get at the seed and were unsuccessful and they finally gave up and eat the seed that falls below it from the birds, pecking and engorging and wasting some of the food, but they eat most of it. One of the benefits is I have a few huge sunflowers growing in my garden now ha ha good birdfeeder the top does not keep the seed completely dry if it’s windy, rainy but they still eat it and when it gets empty every few times I will take it and dump the residual seed from the very bottom which they can’t get at kind of a poor design where the base should have a little plastic insert that raises the floor up to where the ports are so you don’t have an inch of wasted seed that gets old and stale. Other than that, it’s the best birdfeeder I have found and the squirrels get super frustrated because they absolutely cannot access the seed where some of these designs that are similar have a range shield lower, where the squirrels can grab onto and hang upside down and eat the seed not this one this is the best design and worth the money

Condensation is the enemy...and ongoing expense of port replacement.
Cannot recommend at all... it does slow down the squirrels but with the lack of ventilation... any temp changes cause a huge amount of condensation to form inside the clear tube, which causes the sunflower chips (or any seeds) to clump together and MOLD/ROT....fast.If you live anywhere where the seeds will, even slightly warm, in the daytime.. and then cool in the evening, you will get enough condensation in the airless tube area to rot all your seeds. In an effort to prevent squirrels from being able to grip the feeder, they made this an airless, clear poly tube seed holder... BAD DESIGN.... and they obviously didn't test it much or they would have been aware of the issue created by the condensation.Just spent time, drilling hundreds of very small holes in the tube.. hoping to create enough air flow to prevent wasting any more seed. Unless the condensation is stopped, you will loose all your expensive seed to rot and this feeder will be useless. Of course this creates the need and additional expense of buying a large feeder cover, to prevent driving rain from entering the tube.... we'll see.Regardless, with this feeder you also have the additional, EXPENSE of replacing the "ports".... this feeder is NOT WORTH IT.... the modifications, covers and replacement ports make it VERY expensive... keep looking..Possibly, here in Alaska, once deep winter sets in and the days and nights are well below freezing, it will be ok till warmer weather returns. Not much chance of the feeder warming up in the middle of winter. But, a squirrel proof feeder isn't needed then as they mostly hibernate. I need it NOW..... and it's useless... keep this in mind.Again, cannot recommend with the ongoing expenses of port replacement... and design condensation flaws.`

Squirrel proof, protects seeds but plastic over the openings wears out and it only lasts a year.
The only one I've been able to use that stops squirrels. It protects the seeds from getting wet and squirrels have to work too hard to get at the seed. Problem is the plastic covering the openings does wear out as others have noted here and spills seeds. The company needs to redesign and offer parts replacements. I'm a DIYer and am going to try to fix with some clear duct tape because I've always liked this feeder. Now that I've bought two other squirrel proof feeders they are too small for cardinals. I want this to work so badly since every bird loves this feeder but the company really needs to offer replacement parts for the openings.

Tough and durable product
Squirrel proof - solid product should be very durable. I ordered extra feeding plastic inserts just in case mr squirrel figures out how to get to it. Regardless, it is better than other feeders with regard to preventing squirrel robbers eating up all the bird seed.

Works great!
This thing really frustrates the squirrels. So far we have seen three fall off of it when trying to break in. Not only does it leave the seed for the birds, it allows hours of entertainment watching the seed thieves trying to open it with no success.Don't feel sorry for the squirrels, they get their peanuts on the ground.

Love it
The squirrels have been driving us crazy! This works so well that I even feel guilty that the squirrels can’t access food lol

A lot of the seed is lost when birds are feeding
It's a lovely feeder, but a lot of the seed spills out on the ground when the birds are feeding

squirrelmproof!
it is perfect. No squirrels have been able to access the contents. It holds a large amount of seeds; I use it for sunflower seeds. It works as well as my squirrel buster plus feeder, and cost almost a third of it. Also an added plus, the seeds do not flow out all over the place but stay in the feeder for the birds. I'm extremely pleased on all counts and definitely recommend this model. Thank you.

Squirrels are smart.
If you hang it in the open it works very well, squirrels have a tendency to chew the plastic whole protectors, but all in all a good product.
