Great Product!
These are high quality bottles. Their dark amber color will protect the contents from light. The important thing to know is this: TIGHTEN THE TOPS DOWN TO THE BOTTLE BEFORE YOU TRY TO LOOSEN THE PUMPS TO MAKE THEM PUMP FOR THE FIRST TIME OR THE PUMPS WILL NOT WORK! I wish the company had a little notice about that instead of just the arrow on the top of the pump. I turned in the direction of the arrow and the pumps did not loosen until finally I tried tightening the tops down to the bottles. THEN they worked!

Nice bottles but not the pumps -- wasted money
These 4-oz. bottles seemed like they'd be perfect for my needs. The glass is thick and I like the amber color. Unfortunately, I missed the return window by 1 day when I finally got around to setting my things up. I held under the lid as shown and then at the base above, but the 2 that I first tried wouldn't work. I then read someone's posting about screwing the top tightly onto the bottle before getting the pump to lift, and that worked. I'm so disappointed that I have 2 bottles with no pumps and no lids to use, so I'll just have to figure out something to repurpose them. I'll look for another company if I want any more 4-oz. pump bottles.

How to open pump
Love that these are UV and lead-free. When I first received them, I was frustrated that I couldn't get the pumps open and worried that I would have to return or toss them (I had already filled one with lotion). I searched in the reviews how to open the pumps. Between the diagram in the item listing and finding the below review, I was able to get them open. Yay! You need to use A LOT of pressure when pushing the pump into the lid while holding the white part right below the lid then twist in the open direction. The helpful review I read: "I'll tell you here: the pump stem is actually screwed into the cap but the cap will turn with it forever unless you really twist the cap down tightly to the bottle first to keep the inside from turning. Then push and turn the pump to break it loose from its threads (it's jammed in there pretty tight) and it will easily unscrew from there. You also may have to slant cut the bottom of some or all of the tubes if their openings are jammed into the corner of the glass at the bottom, especially if you're putting thick stuff in"

Incredibly Leaky
Original Review (please see update at the end):I purchased these bottles to use for my various cosmetic products, such as my oil mixes and toner. For the most part, these bottles are everything I expected them to be. They're attractive (they look exactly like the image shown on the product page) and are made of quality, durable materials. The bottles are relatively easy to put together. The pumps come separated from the bottles, so you must screw those on first. Once that's done, you have to push down on the pump and turn counterclockwise to release it for use. These bottles are functionally great, as well. Product is very easily dispensed with one push of the pump. I've never had to push the pump multiple times before anything comes out. Dispensing my products this way is so much easier and neater than using the original packaging. I've only stumbled across one drawback - and it's rather major depending on how you plan to use your bottles (hence the reason I've taken a star off the rating). These bottle have the potential to leak from the head. The leaking occurs only when the bottle is tilted sideways, which is how I discovered the problem. I do not travel with these, so I can avoid this problem by making sure I keep them upright on a solid surface, but I would certainly advise people who would be traveling with these to look elsewhere. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with this purchase.UPDATE 1/5/2017: I've decided to downgrade these bottles from four stars to one. Contrary to what I initially believed, these bottle will leak, even with the slightest of movement. I've noticed that after pumping out a substance, the bottle leaks from both the nozzle and from a spot lower down on the pump. The problem seems to be that any substance that wasn't pumped out just sits in the nozzle. When you move the bottle, the substance in the nozzle either leaks out the end of the nozzle or, on its way back into the bottle, will leak out of the spot that is a bit lower down on the pump. It took me awhile to realize this because I was blaming the constant puddles of oil I was seeing on myself. (I kept thinking that maybe I was inadvertently tilting the bottle when transporting it from one room to another.) But one day I observed the leakage happening even after I had made sure to keep the bottle upright. There was also very little substance left in the bottle (less than one tablespoon). The leakage was occurring from various parts of the nozzle/pump as it sat on a table. If you have any need to move these bottles at all, I would avoid these at all costs.
